Here Is My Proposed Plan For A Crew Draft:
• There Will Be 4-8 Crew Leaders
- Voted In Unanimously By Everyone, If They Agree To Doing The Draft.
- Strong Active Leaders Who Are Going To Help People Grow And Test Their Rap Abilities.
• Draftees Will Then Be Drafted Equally Among The Crew Leaders At Random.
- Pick A Number Then Go In Sequential Order Of What Was Closest, They Each Pick A Person Then Repeat Until All Draftees Are Drafted.
• Crews Will Be Placed In Social Groups Until They Agree To A Name Among Themselves, At Which Time The Leader Will Make The Crew.
• Captains Will Then Be Decided With A Leader's Recommendation
• Captains Have The Ability To Put In A Transfer Slip To Another Crew Captain If A Member Would Like To Leave The Crew, Both Leaders Must Agree To A Transfer.
• Crew Tournament To Follow In 2 Weeks

• Reasons To Do The Draft •
Promote Crew Activity
Ability To Test Crew Strengths (No More Talking Shit Or Having A Bunch Of Good People In Your Crew And Saying Your The Best) This Way We'll See Who's Actually The Best.

I'm all up for it tbh. We need some crew activity in this bitch.. Most ppl won't want to leave their crews but hey, what's the point of having 3 crews that don't do nothing?

Creating new crews and balancing their roster power will make all crews even. Then ppl won't know who the strongest crew and they'll have to battle to find out. U all complain about the crew scene but in nowadays lb..it's the only idea to go forward

Exactly, You Can Scream Classick All Day But How You Actually The Best Crew Unless You Guys Compete (As A Group) Against Another Crew.
Plus, This Would Break-Up Your Precious Retirement Homes (HoodRich All Stars, Classick, AC's, etc.) But It Would Spread The Activity And Create Competition Among Yourselves. Too Many People Are Sticking Together Imo.

Interesting But Even Though You Want To Create Activity You Don't Want People Jumping Between Crews So Much. The Point Of The Draft Is To Create Activity But Also Create A Community Among The Crews, Battling Other Crews (Not Just In Text Too, Audio / Topicals / Graphics [Maybe? But Probably Not] Will Let People Who Aren't So Great In Some Areas Shine In Other Places.

The Difference Here Is The Crew Activity Is Flat Lined. Plus, It's Not Like We're Forcing Anyone To Leave Their Crew, If They Want To Sign-Up That's 100% Up To Them.
The Incentives Are Custom Titles, Emcee Items And Bragging Rights On Saying They're Actually The #1 Crew (ON RECORD) On LetsBeef

I like the idea.....But it takes getting members to commit to something and to be honest the way things are going right now I dont think you can expect everybody to completely commit to it...I do like the idea though

I think that, along with what Pulse said about this having failed in the past, its because crews aren't just about associating with "strong leaders" or other strong battlers. Its about chemistry and rapport. I've rejected invites from better crews in the past because I personally didn't like some of their members or didn't identify with the crew's vibe.
In this scenario, I'm assuming, it would be the crew leaders who pick the members in a draft, and the members won't really have a choice over which leader recruits them or who their fellow crew members will be. If enough people are interested and want to sign up, then I think its worth it to do something like this and maybe end up with 2 or more new crews to face off against the more established crews (AC's, LoD, etc) who will probably retain most of their members.
