I feel rappers like Eminem, Tu Pac, Big L, and Nas are overrated. They have great flow and influence but their lyrics are average. Some people argue “Eminem worked hard to become great..” but there's a bunch of underrated rappers who work alot harder than him. The best rapper in my opinion must have:

a) Decent flow – An outstanding flow would be ideal but good flow should have strong delivery, smoothness, rhythm or melody, and pronunciation.

b) Outstanding lyrics – Rappers should have original lyrics, similes, metaphors, punchlines, wordplay, the list goes on.

c) Great beats – The beats don't really count that much as long as they all are unique. Eminem is a great example of this.

d) Emotion – Rappers should be able to evoke emotion when their rapping. That's where vocal projection and pronunciation are key.

In my opinion, Bridge B is the best rapper so far. He has some crazy punchlines, metaphors, similes, wordplay, etc. His flow is decent and smooth. He raps with emotion and emphasis. His beats are old school. He also raps about real life. He's an undefeated champion in battle rap last i heard.

@Student There's been 23 members and 14 were on 2014 Album...Couldn't tell you the current roster though, but yeah...AOTP are dope. @Punk i agree, and the others he mentioned were all beasts too, no way were either overrated. Too many good ones to pick just one imo...Def think Big Pun deserves mention in this thread however
