Question for the staff.
Can VP be reduced solely on the basis of someone being a weak battler, or does someone have to drop poor/hate/self votes to lose it?

VP is only in/decreased dependent upon one's competence when voting. Bnas already has 0 VP, anyway. >.>

VP is raised/lowered solely on how you vote, not how weak or strong you are as a battler.

The only people who have their VP raised are staff, FVC and people who have shown themselves to be good voters over time but I don't think there's a whole lot of those. Most of the staff are at least decent battlers and have a fairly good grasp of the craft. A weighted voting system is generally the best way to go. By giving people who are shit voters less power and good voters more it's a lot easier to achieve a balance and get good results consistently.
That said, it's still all subjective at the end of the day. There's no real objective metric to measure verses by and it all comes down to opinion. What you say is played may wow another person or vice versa.
