Especially Now When We've Got So Few Battles Going Off. Statistically Speaking Since So Few Battles Are Going Down That Means People Aren't Spending Or Have A Need For That Many Credits, So What's The Excuse? I'm Literally Upping The FVC Threads Which I Never Thought I'd Have To. Also, If You're In The FVC With Me And Think I'm Taking Shots At You? Good. Because If You Are Confident In Your Voting You Won't Think This Is Directed At You.

What's The Deal With The Tournament Voting Too? While The "No Swaying" Argument Has Some Valid Points, I Think It's A Cop For Being, No Offense, Lazy. If I Spent 2-3 Days Working On A Verse For A Tournament That Holds The Highest Prestige You Can Accomplish On This Website, Besides The Hall Of Fame, I'd Want At Least Half A Critique On My Verse And That Way If I Lose, I'd Know What To Work On For Next Time.

We went over this a long time ago when REAL TALK and Illimit were dropping short and sweet votes... it's not always a bad thing as Just C said.

If you know their mind is in the right place, that's all that matters. Of course, going into depth is always appreciated, but you can always do that after the battle closes IMO.

It cuts both ways. You say you'd want half a critique on your verse---everyone isn't like you. Some people are afraid of their battles being swayed by long detailed critiques, especially when they're facing someone who's a favorite and your expo reveals you might have voted for their opponent. No matter what you do, someone is going to have a problem with the way you vote. Leave an expo that's short and sweet, they'll complain that its too short. Leave a detailed expo, they'll complain that its swaying. Also, you don't need battle vote comments to get critique on what you need to improve. You can always hit people up privately and get a much more involved critique and perspective on your verse, even when they leave short and sweet comments.
