Lucid dreaming?? orrr?
I was dreaming about killing random people and police who got in my way. I then awoke, but I couldn't control anything that happened. I was dreaming about going into my kitchen and grabbing a knife. I actually felt the handle in my fist, before I blacked out. Hard to explain because everything seemed so surreal but I didn't remember what happened when I blacked out. When I finally came to, I found myself standing in my kitchen doorway. The knife I just "dreamed" about laid on the floor a few feet from me. If I was lucid dreaming, I wouldn't have left my bed, right? Weird because not too long ago I read about "sleep murderers". Do I need help? I would think someone here could assist me with this.
Serious replies please.

You aren't lucid dreaming unless you realize your dreaming during your dream. @ WarSand when you were ACTUALLY AWAKE were you still in your bed? or standing in the kitchen or what

I'm pretty sure I awoke in my bed, then it was like I lost control of everything.

Thats kind of weird if the FINAL RESULT was not you waking up in your bed. I would have thought everything was normal if the end result was you waking up in your bed. If when you "woke up/gained control" you were standing up in the kitchen thats weird to me.

Maybe sleep paralysis

My granddad did. He was diagnosed with sleep apnea in his early years, then as he became older he began sleep walking.
