I fucking love that dude. Went to see Svengali live, it was fucking dope. I'm recording the episode that's on now to watch when my mrs gets back in half hour so don't tell me what happens. Read one of his books a few weeks ago, well worth it, very interesting

Tricks of the mind. It's a good insight into Derren himself and also teaches some memory techniques and basic hypnotism.

Yeah I've been watching it V, I've followed the guy for years but - and I hate to say this - I'm not sure I but into the legitimacy of this one. I know the claims of acting have been refuted, but there's too many things we're expected to just accept that make no sense eg he can make you fall asleep with a touch and a phrase. It's too convenient.

I watched a bit of Apoc and all ima say is this: ACTORS.

Everyone apart from the central guy was an actor, that's made clear at the beginning. It's all about deception and subliminal messaging, and he's a great showman. He doesn't pretend to be a magician by any means, but apocalypse just seems too out there to be plausible.

Lol yeah everybody is complaining about actors in Derren Brown but they were suppose to be haha, it was a set up.

I believe everything he does, it's all subliminal messages, nothing magical but he admits that. He's a cool guy and really talented regardless of how he does stuff haha.
