Alien Isolation.

Anybody here playing it?

Havn't encountered the xenomorph yet but I've heard it hissing at scurrying about. Even seen what looked like drool coming from a vent. took me like 5 minutes to pluck up the courage to go into that room only to find out it wa\s a water leak.

Game is intense. Especially the sound design. lol

I Alien A.I is supposed to be random and intelligent learning your habits. can't wait to try and out stealth it.

Seriously, is nobody else here playing this? It's the scariest game I've played in years.

That feeling when your motion tracker randomly bleeps. spending 10 minutes hiding in a fucking cupboard cause you heard something out of the ordinary lol

I haven't played it personally but I've watched a lot of gameplay on it. The game itself is beautiful, I think the graphics and just the environment in general is really really good looking.

If you think it looks great, you need to hear it. The sound is even better. Arguably the best sound design ever produced for a game. You need to hear it for yourself.

Obviously everyone has their own tolerance when it comes to whats scary and whats not. but for me. And I've played a fair few horror games. This is shit ya pants while you hide in a locker for 20 minutes tryna pluck the courage to get out and press on scary.

The Alien is terrifying. They nailed him. In some ways did him more justice than the movies.. Plus besides a few scripted events to build the tension, you never know when he's going to pop out or what he's going to do when he's in your vicinity.

I'm still dreading this happening to me.

I know a time will come when I flash my torch or use a flare and BAM! LOL.

Main reason I been staying away from vents. That and the noise they make when they're auto triggered by your presence creeps/scares the shit out of me.

I wouldn't watch Lets Plays. It'll only spoil the game. Last genre of game I'd watch a lets play before playing myself is survival horror. I'd seriously recommend you don't do that. but too each his own.
