I just like a lot of Jay Z's music. He's not a better rapper but his older music was defo "original". The beats were a bit different from everything everyone else uses (kind of like how Eminem is as well).
I wouldn't listen to a new Jay Z song if you paid me, but I'd defo play one of Jay Z's old albums over a Lloyd Banks one, cause I find Banks to be fairly boring.
