How Highly Would You Rate Dexter

I've just started watching this again after years away from it (someone else just started the series and I'm watching it with them and re capping on Netflix till it hits where I left of in season 3) And I forgot how great this show was.

I've heard it goes down hill in the later series but up to the start of season 3, for me. it's 1 of the best shows in the last 10 or 20 years.

i started it again after a few years from around s3 as well, you'll enjoy it

poetic ending and not much ppl liked it.. killed me on the inside but was beautiful in a way none the less, word of advise is dont over think the ending of what's to come and just watch the series progress.. go with the flow

Okay, I'm able to admit I was completely wrong about Game of Thrones, it has action for days, and I literally can't wait for Telltale Games to make their version of it. Will be in the running for my all time favourite game I expect.

But I don't think I'll ever be talked around about Dexter. I mean okay, Ajax is his adoptive dad. That's pretty damn awesome, but come on. So you're genuinely telling me that this Malibu pretty boy is supposed to be a badass serial killer? Designer stubble, 'windswept hair', moisturised for days. This isn't exactly Anthony Hopkins over here.

I'm sure there were many well groomed Vikings. I'm pretty sure we're not going to be seeing many on the new show though.

Dexter is a show for every one of the "Oh, am I crazy because I like serial killers?" people on the planet to 'indulge their inner psycho".

I read on a fact website earlier that biting your finger skin or lip skin is a sign of anxiety. I do this all this time, and have never experienced anxiety in my life. It's the same principles. People looooooves to be "fucked up". I'm sure I could go see a shrink tomorrow and we could talk for hours about how I imagine brutally beating several complete strangers when I walk past them. Is this ACTUALLY as crazy as that sentence alone sounds? Is it fuck. I do martial arts and like to pretend "What if this dude came at me?". But the way I worded it the first time seemed like I was suuuch a crazy cunt. Like 90% of Dexter fans will be the same. It's alright though because all the hipster fans are now watching Hannibal for the same reasons.

I don't know how you see Dexter as a bad ass. I certainly never seen him that way. I actually think his look is perfect.

A lot of serial killers/weirdo's have a charm about them and even good looks. I'm not saying all of them do but most of them have something about them. whether it's their captivating personality being used as a tool to rope certain individuals in or their looks.

Plus Dexter is a super nerdy blood splatter analyst, again his look and persona fits that along with his introverted personality.

I have absolutely no problem with the way Dexter looks. If anything his looks are perfect for me.

Don't forget that his urges were honed from a young age. He's unique. He's been taught to pick his time and his opponents. He works on the force, he lives a healthy lifestyle of good food, living in malibu and exercise. for his occupation and where he resides along with a supportive upbringing to hone his urges. his physical appearance is bang on the money for me.
