Mayweather vs Maidana
So Yesterday, Mayweather confirmed Marcos Maidana to be his next opponent..
Is he ducking Khan? Cause he clearly said that he was letting his fans choose his opponents &.. everyone pretty much wanted Khan lol.
If you have no idea who Maidana is, he last defeated Adrien Broner (Mayweather's "lil bro") and snapped his win streak.
I don't think people cared about him vs Maidana. I'm a fan of may but Amir Khan should've been fighting him instead of Marcos..
Yall thoughts?

To start. Maidana is a beast. He almost sparked out Khan, and his fight with Broner is one of my all time favourites. He's a pitbull and always someone I'll be excited to watch...EXCEPT when it's against Mayweather.
I was looking forward to the Khan fight. Obviously, 9 times out of 10 Mayweather stops Khan inside the distance, and even higher odds for a points win in general, but I like to see Mayweather face people that have an advantage over him. Khan is faster, and that COULD pose some problems for May, especially because at times he can drop a few rounds due to slow starts. Maidana has absolutely nothing for Mayweather, and people who have convinced themselves that Broner is the next Mayweather are ridiculous. Mayweather easily wins that fight, which is a major disappointment because I wanted to see if Khan could use his speed and bring a few issues to the kingpin's doorstep.
Although, not a chance is Mayweather ducking Khan.

Khan Vs May was definitely on my wish-list. This is a fight where i wouldn't have cared who won it but shit still seems a bit fishy to me tho. Seems like a hand picked one here. I know Maidana is a beast but May knew it was gonna be easier.
I'm hoping in the next few years, i get to see Danny Garcia vs May XD That'll be pretty dope. He needs to beef up

Maidana would be a bigger draw in the states I imagine. I was recently told by someone in America that Khan draws nothing for PPVs.
Danny Garcia is another guy I'm not interested in Vs May. What advantages does he have? He's a boxer puncher. Guys like Canelo, Khan, Pacquiao and anyone who uses their jab intelligently, and perhaps has an advantage over May, is the kind of fighters I want to see #1 step to.

lol Yea he doesn't have shit on him atm.. But like i said, in a few years, Danny G more experienced & stronger vs May would be nice.. Him vs Khan was like the only full fight i watched that year. Danny G have his speed & strength moments.
& No Americans really know bout Khan (a bad thing) Shit we would barely know who Pac-man was if he & Floyd didn't have that little shit going on.

Yeah? I know a lot of Americans got behind the Donaire hype train and stuff.
I haven't actually watched boxing in a while. I got dejected at the one sided fights that get put on, and the lack of big fights being arranged. I have pretty much completely switched over to MMA now, and only watch a little bit of boxing when I happen to see it on.
With the UFC being one of the worst cards of all time this weekend, and Bellator being on TV in a week in the UK, boxing will win this weekend. Ricky Burns is fighting Terence Crawford, and is a big underdog despite holding the belt and fighting out of Glasgow. In his last fight, he was gifted a draw, and the fight before he was lucky his opponent was a little girl about taking damage. This could finally be the time that Glasgow's only current high level professional boxer gets his belt taken away

Maidana deserves the fight more he Just Came off a huge win which is usually who Mayweather goes after I mean Amir hasn't came off any Huge victories and I believe his star power has actually deminished tons the last year or so........I think he would have given Mayweather a better fight IMO and caused him alot of Problems.........I think MAidana is taylor made for Mayweather but has the more "Star Power" at the present as he just beat undefeated "mayweather clone"broner I am a Mayweather fan and have been since waaaaaaaay back But I think he beats both anyway

Doesn't matter who beat who If you watch boxing and are a real fan and know the sport you know just becus one guy beats another guy doesnt means he can beat a fighter another guy beat etc and I actually said Khan would give him more trouble but as of right now Coming off his Broner win hes seen as the more dangerous opponent
