We don't need it. You guys know how to vote. Do it! The FVC was just a title. YOU GUYS ARE THE FVC. All of you. I thought maybe after doing that whole deal everyone would get it. It's the responsibility of every user to drop fair and explained votes with ratings that actually reflect the verses in the battle. Does everyone do it? Of course not. There's always going to be bad apples and the staff will do their best to keep those peoples votes from even mattering. However, it is your job as users to negate those people. And you can do that with proper vote etiquette. Seems like nobody really knows what that means exactly so I'll try to explain what I think that means.

Proper Vote Etiquette:
1) Never ever let your opinion on someone as a person affect the vote you're dropping. If you don't think you can do that then go find another battle to vote on.

2) Explain your vote. You don't actually have to break down every syllable of every bar like some of you guys think you do. It's nice that you do that and all, don't get me wrong, but you don't have to break down every tiny thing. Just give a somewhat detailed description of why one verse seemed better to you than the other. And it doesn't take all that long so there's no reason not to just give a good reason for your vote.

3) Don't try to persuade other people to vote the same as you. I see some serious swaying sometimes and it's almost always on purpose. When I see those votes I delete the comments. Sometimes I delete the vote to and those go back to number one.
3.2) I call this one the NO SPOILERS rule. When you leave your vote, don't say who you're voting for. There's a reason you can't see who other people voted for until after you've voted. Just say why you liked and disliked about each verse and note that you've voted. It's really simple. Read HVK's comments on battles or May's or any of our other staff members.

4. Rate the verses in a fair but realistic manner. Seriously too many tens. Too many ones as well. Mostly they're right next to each other. The value of the rating should be true to the value of the verse you're putting the number on and nothing else.

5. Vote often. There's always battles on the battles page. Why not give them a peek? Can't hurt anything. And the more YOU vote the more other people will be encouraged to vote as well. Why would someone even want to vote if their own battles get ignored? I'm not trying to encourage dick sucking rings (Pause.) or anything like that but what I mean is that when people get votes on their battles they're more inclined to vote period. You guys don't need me to encourage more voting when it starts to get dry. It's up to each and every one of you to make people WANT to vote. And you do that two ways. Putting up good battles and voting often with proper voting etiquette frequently.

jus from experiance..i think alot of ppl feel obligated to vote back on the same person if they voted for them,why? because they see it as if i vote back it wont be a hate vote and it wont matter and they can vote back on my shit ect. people dont realize what a fair vote is from a hate vote..

theres a diff between constructive criticism and a actual hate vote and dick riding

so my views on that would be this..

Constructive Criticsim-when someone who actually gives you advice to help you improve your flow but you take it as hate. if someone is giving you advice take it an use it on your next battle.

Hate Voting-i think it comes wit the fact that if someone votes back and they dont get the voted they wanted(a vote thrown at them for voting for you) then they get pissed, or it just beef that people cant handle thats why X made ya ur block system..so use it haha

Dick Riding- i think LB knows all about dick riding, but i think its just friends voting for friends people cant stand to take a L specially when its a deserved one OR a respected one and 95% of LB likes it in the ass and i think we all aware of that

thats just my break down on it tho
