I write texts to my own beats, how you do?

Hey, just curious how you start writing your own texts, is it like you gotta hear the beat you're wrting to or just go off the head totally acapella and can write anytime something pops up in your mind?

Personally i like writing to beats, especially to my own ones haha

I write it most of the time as how it would be said at a live battle.

Drop a freestyle on the beat i wanna record on. If its good i might keep some good lines for a start or if its whack, at least it gives me the opportunity to get a hang of the beat.

I then listen to it like 2-3 times and then I start writtin on it (while i let it play with a low volume)!
