Scribble Jam > Grindtime, KOTD, etc.
Freestyle battles are way more entertaining and better in almost every aspect than written battles. Especially the on-stage freestyle battles. Written battles bore me and don't impress me as much as freestyle

I love to freestyle, and I enjoy watching freestyle battles.....but I'mma call bull shit on the better in almost every way comment.
Written battles weed out the possibility for dudes to just flow w/ no punches... which happens a lot in freestyle battles. And as everyone knows, the heavy hitting concept/personal punchlines and structures possible in a written will always hit harder than an observational punch.
