Are you talking about the song I have posted or newer battles? Currently, I'm using a RODE mic. Its decent for podcast and recording as well. If you're looking for an 'all-around' mic (for under $200) it's not bad. I've used Blue and Yeti in the past, too. And the song, I put it together and recorded my verse at a local studio. I have a homie that owns a multi-million dollar one in town. He works with well-known artists and small local groups in his spare time. I can go down there and use the equipment or have him engineer it. He went to college and got a degree in production, music n all that.
