intelligence/complexity is ever present in battle rap. It makes lines creative, dope and note worthy. The medium for a rappers intellect is their delivery. With that being said, presentation might be old, but the bars still hold the same weight. So if you are saying that "Gangster" approach aka Gun Play is outdated then you are right. Its old, but if the intelligence is present in the delivery the lines are still dope. Whats really intelligent is battle rappers knowing how to display their intelligence/complexity in every form of delivery. Just Sayin
