*Puts Headphones On, Takes Out Notebook And...* I'm lounged sippin just layin round slizzard. I see the crowd drifted.. Skyward, the sun struts in cloud linen. My frown lifted to Al's Green diction Red navel flags bounce in rhythm. I'll listen to him whip an expound sentences. Ahh, The nouns glistenen, (Side Notes Rolled Up: I'm brown spliffin it) Though, my head's heavy from the "Crown" liftin. Me? Orphaned at birth, "shore" but I've been found nigga. A scowl isn't a proud member on my face literally...Never had identity, a vagabond, an entity with no stability or serenity. But the atmospherics here have me reminiscing "Sensibly" (I can taste it) The sky is where my eyes and my past find a common rest. Sonnets rest in the hearth of my thoughts and stress (You hear that?) These symphonies so sweet to me, the heat just bleed love. I close my eyes and see doves then imagine who my team was; Momma the left, pops died in child birth (lol) i smile first..ain't nobody have a dad to call or dial firsti see my cousins squabblin, and momma callin in supper b, grandmamma with a prayer or story to heal my bad luck'n suffering. (I should probably book it man) The thought of my mother fades..as Curtis Mayfield 'Pusher Man.' The band keeps playing, the heat waving in warm embraces this porous place welcomes me home, i zone in show of faith kid. Motown era music is my coping device like the LSD soaked copa (that's right!) Broker than pipes in my kitchen, i'm time stitching as Purple Haze wafts around. Just a 'Ball Of Confusion' my inner Eddie Kendricks can't seem to lock it down. Ironic, envisionin the "coulda beens" clutchin writing pens to write WHAT IT IS. See.. I came here 'So low' but all that jazz keeps me focused though. "A Positive Bloodline" might have put me in a broken home, I close my notebook and peer into the future's face. Cause family's only skin deep to me.. my mind is where the suture's placed. Mellow tunes comfort me, (damn i'm late, gotta go now) I never wanna exercise verbs when im cre-a-ting the Pronouns. I open my eyes up at the end of the chorus line, and nothing's there..I guess that makes time in this the "Shorest Line" *Bags everything up, and heads to work*
