Alright... so I listened to both twice before making a decision. It's always challenging to vote on a battle that wasn't based on equal terms. I believe if you are to blind drop then you should at least comment on wheter or not the drop has a beat or not. Letting the other Emcee know the specfic beat beforehand would put the battle on level ground. 

So Q definitely showed his ability to ride a beat, and had some really good bars in there. I was left with more of a cypher feel though; Q wasn't so much attacking the person on the other side of the mic - it didn't feel like it was directed at anyone (which takes away from punches)....

Bape came with a different approach; a more focused tactic, while staying on topic. It felt more collected. I suggest checking first on blind drops to see if there is a beat or if it is actually aca. Otherwise it's hard to compare and contrast.

At the end of it all I gave it to Q since there was an added challenge of riding a beat, but both artist show promise.
