The hour of chaos: Sept. 11, 2001. 8:59-9:59 AM I hopped off the 2 train - right by Hudson Square, at 8:59AM and saw somethin rare. New York at a standstill- hypnoti zed by flame, from a buildin that they're sayin hit its side wit a plane. Im like "Shit wifey work next door" Im number dialin, runnin towards the fire gut feelin strummin the violin. She answered, I said "You better bounce like a boat and float, grab ya coat and we not takin a vote." She said "Ok I'll see you soon" then all I hear is ....BOOM. The loudest sound I ever heard - like a mega bomb, accompanied by shaking of the floor that Im (jet)tin on. "Hello?" no response- somethings flyin in my direction, I dodged what was in fact a starboard engine. Increased bedlam as I close in on Ground Zero, somebody hollered at me "you better turn around hero." /People runnin at me yellin "Yo we're under attack, by the son of Iraq, time to run for the gat." The impacts were rattling to the core, as I dodged the raining bodies that were splattering on the floor. Their screams approachin arrivin and stoppin, Im still in motion it aint like wastin time is an option. Second towering inferno's doorway throwin up, A fireman said "where you goin", I said "Im goin up. To be exact - the ninetieth floor, dont deny me the door, and accidentally invite me to war." He said "I cant.." I said "whats that?" He looked where the birds soar, when he looked back I was already on the third floor. Cuttin through the crowded stairway like a blade, on the eightieth heard an old lady screamin "Im afraid". Helped her up and she grabbed a railing that gave way, I got a stair in one hand- her in the other as she sway. I swung her over to safety one floor below, now Im chokin in the stairwell wit ten more to go. I finally get there - hopin to see her face, and turned the corner just in time to watch her take the leap of faith. Frozen by the declining level of her voice, when I caught on fire and made a devil of a choice. The walls caved in as I ran for the window, cannonballed out of it lookin like winnin five in a row(lb fireball). The structure collapsed as I crashed into the ground, til this day they say my exit brought the house down. Comment Only

Fuck dot/ The only answer to my cancer is bust shots/ So I get my gun then I head out the door/ Not done til everyone's dead on the floor/xxx Red will be poured, I dream as I'm driving/ See flashing lights n hear screaming police sirens/ Don't believe in these pirates, I stomp on the gas/ Pistol out the window n bust the glock on these fags/xxx Observe n laugh as*the cops swerve n crash, a few shoot back/ A bullet hits my shoulder, they yelling pull it over, screw that/ I'm too fast, move past the traffic/ If I see an ambulance im blasting at it/xxx* Speeding towards the docs n nurses/ Leave em torched n off in hearses/ Cant save me so their worthless/ I'll burn them and then their churches/xxx* Then suddenly I lost control, hit a car, flip flopped n rolled/ Making it to the hospital is now impossible/ Air bag deployed, n knocked me senseless/ Still got this toy n I'm not defenseless/xxx Can 't stop this venom, make this poison spread/ As I turn the boys in blue to the boys in red/ Crawl out the window, smoke in my eyes/ Get up just in time before the police arrive/xxx 3 pm, My celly starts a ringing/ I pick it up n it's a Doctor claiming/ Sorry sir, we were wrong, you're gonna live/ I put the gun in my mouth n bust the shit/xxx _ Comment Only

Nice topic for the finals, its a very wide range topic that you could incorporate into alot of situations..rock, being from l.e.s manhattan and living in nyc my whole life i could relate to your story..but what i liked best is how it was written and delivered..it was almost effortless with no hiccups in the flow..wig, your a good storyteller i think you really showwed us all wih your forbidden fruit verse..your story here sounded a bit early eminemish..the ending was a funny twist that i enjoy..my Fly Vote is in Voted: M-Rock / Wigsplit
