Was highly lacking here, the may jedi was the only acceptable one I seen but the line doesn't even make sense. Now read this out loud to yourself: "last time I may jedi with the shots... DeadTRI's verse was full of reaches. Phro/throw, if anyone not from England used that I would phro them out of a window. But I'll give you a pass and assume it works for you. Nothing in this verse really landed, jedi was probably the best punch and that's not saying much. Imp and iraq, I see what you were going for but they were not set up in a way for the punchline to flip anything. Homer on the lighthouse was a reach but it least it was a funny reach, I can't complain too much since I contrive my punchlines some too. Hoes and tibet were just forgettable, and rounds bars do not belong in serious battles in 2025. Lyrurkel. Not sure who you are, but you must be a name change since your account has obviously been around for a while. Your execution was better than DeadTRI's, but your stuff was even more basic than his. Detrimental/deadtri's mental was probably the best punch in here and it's not really even a wordplay since it does not sound the same both ways. Urn/earn, well, okay, yup, 1997 wants it punches back. And putting shit like (OhNo) in parentheses after a punchline only works if you are an old-school Hall of Famer. A lot of emergency doors open automatically and, if they are regular doors, don't you usually let the door swing anyway? So the way the punch flips the setup is kinda unspecific. I want to vote for you just because I hated how DeadTRI's punches were simple and still forced, but I can't. Nothing you had in here really landed. I will say one thing about this battle though, it was at least readable and had a couple things worth remembering. That's better than 90 percent of the battles on this site. Fair's in.
