ill give you all some advice. c4 you have a style that can go far fast. you have a philisophical way of rapping but intuitivly able to cast some shock value with curveballs you just need to channel that into battle rap. think what can i say to defeat this person with words. then use that savvy rhyme scheme to scheme up a punch with metaphorical linguistics such as puns idioms similies with some wordplay. for troldmand i was in your pos and still am but just a few months ahead if you put in work. unfortunatly your way of rap is exactly like mine. you can write a book with your descriptive language. it feels like you want to attack but in text rap battle we dont have the opportunity to actually say our raps so what happens is ppl read it and your aggression and descriptions get missed or read off wrong. sofor you you may have to go on a journey like i did. write every day try to get advice from others tweak what you can and read others battles to see what they are doing.. ill give you a hint they are not describing how they will kill their opp in one whole cohesive way they are taking a concept finding a good duality that they can sharpen both sides into one cohesive punch.. an off the top concept for c4 would be someshit like this "ill take c4 out with a clip like a tec op, red wire or the blue wire blah blah make it rhyme and connect" or "c4 getting blown up from this T pain, thats a Tec with a switch- he getting auto tuned." people just want you to attack aggressive with less descriptive language.. all the focus is mainly on using other linguistics to describe the dichotomy in the main theme or concept. in other words i like your aggression when you say you couldnt heat up if you pissed yourself or fall short when shit hits the fan but they wont trans well because people dont want to read a good story they want to make a connection between two things into one concept. battle c4 again and think about his name parts of it that you can call him and how it can be used. i came up with c4 bomb but the possibilities are endless you can scheme a whole 007 bar but just understand your good writing skills are not a good or bad thing here you can combine the two without making the line a filler but dont over describe the concept find the dualities and weave. cheers
