This was an entertaining battle. Both had a solid strucutre and smooth delivery. Funny you both opened with a sky-diving bar lol. Anyway, props to both for having this pop off, great to see something good to read on here again, so massive props for that and taking your time to do it. My winner made a lil more impact for me. Felt one was more complex and had clearer wps and punches. The other was rapping but couldve lander better shots imo, but nice battle from both i got a cleaner winner here. fv.

This was dope from both,I honestly could of voted either way,only thing for me is I didn't get some of the references from lock,and that's just a personal niche for my geographical location,like chi chi, also wasn't in to Ben 10 which is quite a lame reference for portraying a tough image imo. And ur opening bar...there's no question if he might slide,when's the last time u slid an an op? Also when someone has a direct rebuttal in a blind battle,I call spiritual fuckery on some kind of level.i bet ur grandad is a Mason rt. Rupt took this fv as always.

i came back to reread this, lockhart deff had alot of bars i really liked...this was honestly hard to choose....its literally a coin flip

that caitlyn clark shit was one of the hardest bars i ever hear lol and that cheap seats shit was fire from lock....this was good

good concepts, some slightly drawn out (opener  & atom functions), multis on point but it took away the punch count. Flowed on point as usual

not as many multis as Erupt, but more punches. Flowed on point, felt you had a higher & harder punch count.

 tho my winner had a couple generic clichés ( nose bleed cheap seats) he had higher highs through his round along with a smoother read for me 

Erupt was good here too so it could go either way realistically

I got mad love and respect for both artists here. With that being said, the Caitlin Clark and empathetic bars were what stood out to me the most by erupt. From Lock, that URL bar and Omnitrix bar were the highs for Lock to me. I feel like it's Lock's coherency and articulacy that makes him such of a headache for opps. I don't want to vote because Lock is still an AC at heart, so I dont want anyone to get any wrong ideas, feel me? Anyways, Kw0n was here

Erupt

Caitlin Clark open was a good all-around bar. Personal, good setup and execution, clever concept. My only complaint is that it's kind of forced since Caitlin Clark isn't a skydiver afaik.

The next segment of your verse was just okay. Deion Sanders and Musk were mediocre, and then the make up everything concept was decent if basic, but the multi was not so great. Atoms make up everything, sure, but would you really say that is how they function?

Clicked and read it bar was another drop in quality, I felt like I was transported back to 2009 when I read that.

Bring it down a notch and empathetic were better but still just decent. The execution was spot-on and the multis gave it a really nice progression, but the concepts were still just middling.

The closer was probably my least favorite line of your verse, even though in some objective sense it's probably better than the reddit bar. The attempted assassination of Trump is a really obvious thing to write a bar about and this was not nearly clever enough to make me think "ohhhhhh dammmmmn he went there toooo soooonn!!!" Plus, "ear relevant" is just not natural language. Also, and I tried to not let this factor into my decision, when I read "ear relevant" I can't help but mentally hear Shuffle-T telling Marlo, "You're irrelevant. You're more pause-worthy than those six seconds in Fifth Element where that girl gets out her tits and everything... 'cause you pause it on the TV."

Lockhart

Wild coincidence that you both had a skydiving bar followed by a sports bar.

Your opener was mildly simple but very clean. If this were a one-bar battle between your openers, I would vote for Erupt but it would be a close decision. His concept was better than yours, but your execution was better than his.

CTE bar was meh and maybe a bit of a reach because it does not totally work both ways. You would not tell someone they can't stand to chronic traumatic encephalopathy would you? (And not just because nobody writes out chronic traumatic encephalopathy instead of CTE)

Chief Keef bar did not do anything for me.

BOTY bar, a contender, aching tender, unlike most wordplays I actually like this because unlike most wordplays you don't have to butcher the pronunciation to make it work both ways. And the added layer of pulling muscle makes for a solid jab.

I did not get the nosebleed thing and had to look it up, I'm not a sports dude. Not the greatest bar ever but solid.

The setup to production from Fiji unfortunately reminded me of Saiyan's "sell of a product removed." I'm not sure this is not a reach. I assume you mean the Fiji water bottles? But the bottles are not squares. They're like cuboids with rounded edges. Son Goten was another one I had to look up. I kinda like it, although it does not fully work. "Son Goten years with them sayings" - I wish I could ignore when concepts don't totally work both ways because then it would be a lot easier for me to enjoy bars

Tea leaves was bar of the battle without a close second. Good concept with plenty of tie-ins and impeccable execution. This bar would not look out of place in a GC final. This is what won you the battle imo. If this bar had not been as good as it was, I probably would have voted for Erupt.

Ben 10 was another good bar. The concept was fine and the execution was not as perfect at the tea leaves bar, but it was still clean.

Overall

Lockhart had the BOTB with tea leaves and cleaner execution. Erupt had the Caitlin Clark and empathic bars that were better than anything Lockhart had other than the tea leaves bar, but also had worse low points. Close decision, but I'm giving it to Lockhart. Fair's in.

2 of the best right here. I feel like my choice hit harder and had better swag. Both were creative. My choice had the better flow. Overall dope shit. Thanks yall. G'Luck
