My winner had the better structure and bars in his piece. Loser had a decent flow buyt wasn't really attacking his op, it was more of a freestyle/cypher kind of drop.

I normally don't care what comments are posted on my battles but I feel this comment from Bav warrants a reply. This is not addressed to everyone, but many people on LB.

I remember a time when let's beef battles were judged primarily on 1) vocab 2) Multies 3) punchlines 4) flow... so why I keep hearing about "structure" nowadays like this is a 5 paragraph essay in English class? What structure are we talking about exactly? Serious question.

Far as "attacking the opponent", correct me if I'm wrong, but Adonis got an Afro in his pic like soul train dancers, encircled by a gold "chain", and the whole drop in general is gettin at the opponent. So I'm confused what you mean by this.

I feel like a bunch of y'all need to get back to reality with how you lookin at hip hop. It's a spoken word artform, and I get it, it feels nice to dress up your lil avatar and get praise from your "crew", but this "blind leading the blind" kind of crap that I see from many individuals who are active in the text thing is part of the problem with hip hop in general and why Nas told y'all hip hop is dead. 

No hate or disrespect towards Adonis, this is just for fun anyway, but I hope someone will understand what I am saying here and challenge themselves in a new way regarding verse composition, rather than emulating the "hottest text battlers" who can't get on a recording and sound halfway decent. not a bad battle but i got adonis taking this one for concentrating on dissing
