Expo: He got caught taking lines from Rican...aka Papi

Expo: Esso is a gas/petrol company. Also, Rican re-wrote one line during feedback which i used but shouldn't have.

I feel like my winner was more technically sound for the most part. Kept it very smooth and somewhat entertainable. His opponent I have seen way better work from. A couple of misses on this one. 

Hate to vote on such an important battle with 2 great beefers. 

Both dropped proper shit, but Esso edged it with stronger punches.

this one was a banger. Q had some really outside the box concepts and Esso's setups were heavy along with the corresponding punchlines. Q, 's Eye on U line was clever as shit. Esso's thriller choreo line was super dope. line for line and punch-wise i gotta go with Esso on this one. Solid battle guys. 

This was a hardcore battle boys, one dude came in with some punches going off and I thought it this guy's going to be hard to beat. Esso comes in and drops a couple more blows than the challenger did. Nice job guys

Biting lines from Rican should be an L by itself lmao.

Q: Rush Hour bar was ok, I had to look up the reference though. Umlaut bar was a reach (2 dots = eyes? nah) but at least creative. E's / drug testing bar, very played-out concept. Closer was not awful, but the Esso/fuel nameplay is overdone, and the wording is unnatural.

Esso: Opener was ok, generic concept other than being a personal. Office space bar was a heater, this is the stuff I click on Esso battles for. Fondue bar was short but sweet. That's the kind of line I wish I had come up with myself, it's the opposite of forced. Yondu bar was alright, okay concept but another one I had to look up, and "my whole team ravager" is a bit forced. John Woo bar was decent, good execution but simple concept.

Esso takes this clearly with stronger punches. Fair's in.

I liked Q's closer. Nice little double nameplay and a solid ender to his verse. Esso's Office Space bar was fire and BOTB imo. Think this one came down to consistency and I think Ess got the W with that. Fair's in.

ummm... "office space: you took it out on the machine for having problems when you copied" is BOTB by far, imo. Disgusting setup and a heavy haymaker.

q: punches here were really nice, Yu's the master, fuel for company were standouts. I think the difference between Ess and your verses was Ess's setups lent more power to his punches while yours sort of just setup the scheme. Felt like if more time or a stronger approach was taken, this would have been closer

esso: punch after punch, strong setups, not much to say here. Really FW your writing and feel it was a level above in just about every element.

Fuck what a banger, really enjoyed this. Q had a solid verse and the closer I thought was your best bar, absolute fire. Drug testers at festivals was a nice line too, though the "thugs best or identical" was a bit of an awkward setup. Esso, the Rican personal is like 4 years old lol, yet that was the last time I was active so it still pretty hard for me lol. Loved the fondue punch, short and sweet, and Yondu was sick as well. Forgot to mention I loved the "eyes on U like writing German" ish from Q. In the end both came pretty hard but I think Esso was a bit cleaner and just had more lines that made me laugh, so I'm leaning to Esso. Good luck to both!

Lmao me & Sho had exactly the same description of the fondue line. Also loved the office machine copy line and liked the rush hour reference.

gotn esso taking this with, imo, a higher punch count and more complex multis. this is real close though and could go either way.

I felt one started strong but ran out of steam . Had way stretched lines and the other kept punching till the end and came with better concept execution. 

I'm voting on esso. His punches felt harder and accompanied by the personal got my vote

Both was dope but winner had it better with flow in my opinion. No hate fair vote
