Exwhyzee was rappin rapping. Definitely did well with the scheme he chose. Lots of partial internals showed off skills. Horrible bosses and More on the author stood out. Kiwi took the open though and had the advantage of being able to be more direct in his attacks so I gotta lean that way here. Chicken shit, cartoon signature, and baboon bars were stand outs.

I went with the one who impressed me more and that was XYZ here. In battles like these where the first guy doesn't have the luxury of using personals, I think the 2nd person has to go the extra mile to get the W and I don't think KP did enough here. Verse was solid, but it was missing that one good haymaker to really seal the deal. XYZ's schemework was very clean. Liked the closer alot. Clean flips and puns as usual. Good battle, but I got XYZ. Fair's in.

Good battle here. Enjoyed reading both. Kiwi's punche shit harder for me. Fairs thrown. 

This was a good read & style clash all around. Exwhy left earth on the scheme work (showing lots of improvement fr). Kiwi had a few solid punches, but fell short on the overall impact bar for bar.

this was tough to call, one was scheming his ass off throughout and the other had buildup towards complicated punches. thats not to say other dude didn't have punches.

overall i felt myself leaning towards the more complex setups and impactful of punches but really this could go either way, both barred their asses off here.

exwhyzee: Putting your verse on a scheme gave you that advantage over Kiwi, but I thought most of your punches were reaches. Like, I get what it means to say they're drawn a little to you, but that wording is totally unnatural. If you saw a story on the news about some guy who kidnapped a toddler from Wal-Mart, would the newscaster say that he drew a little to him? If you were torturing lawyers, why would they be giving you a defense? Maintaining a scheme didn't make up for the fact that all the concepts were reaches and also forgettable.

Kiwi: After reading exwhyzee's verse, I thought you would win clearly, rusty or not. I was right that you won but it was closer than I expected. First off, with the opener, poll/pole is a really basic wordplay, and worse than that, when you vote on LB, you fill in a circle, not an X. Chicken shit bar was just... not memorable. Really easy concept to think of. Marco Polo was the first good bar of this battle, not excellent but good all-around bar, my only complaint is that first multi. Cartoons bar was good too, but adding the "right?" to your own concept made it a lil' forced. Baboons bar was good except that I can't make the syllable stress patterns of the multis match. Maybe it works for you, I dunno. I liked the test me with numbers thing. All the constituent concepts were simple, but the bar became more than the sum of its parts like I was adding up numbers. Closer was funny lol, I can't judge it the same way as a regular bar so I'll just say that.

Kiwi wins with some strong punches and some misses versus a verse full of reaches. Not a body but I have my winner. Fair's in.

Forgot to mention, I wanted to like that more on the author concept, but bile/bio? Really?
