I agree with most of what Student said, but with a different outcome. Polly had a lot of personals, sure... A&H did too, though. There was just a difference in execution here. One got to the point, whether it hit hard or not. The other tapdanced to the point and some shit just didn't click. I'd say both of you finished strong... run this back with another 16 coz I don't feel either of you gave this 100, as far as bodying your opponent goes.

historically ive never been a fan of con's writtens but honestly he fuckin snapped here. everything about con's verse signalled weak points in apolly's verse.

while both brought it with top tier verses, con's edged out in just about every category

fun battle, i felt appolyon was a bit better with the personals and had a bit cleaner multis but i think Concise was constantly punching and was somewhat more complex in his rhymes so fvnh this could go either way.

yea nice one , Apollyon's opener was nice , got me thinking. Read Couple times. Concise schemed better , Apollyon had nice personals , but both battlers got strong and weak points , Ah damn it'd a hard one , I liked the weather thing and I liked the 'bulls can't be beat' thing , I gotta give it to Apollyon cuz of how he carries out his punches , Concise is crazy hot , I just think he was slightly outmatched here. 

Apollyon: Feels like you were missing some punchlines if that makes sense, especially in your first half, you had some good setups & connections but nothing stood out too brightly, no hate. Mindless bar & closer were nice though, IDK I've seen better from you, although this wasn't for the LBT or a Tournament so I'm taking that into consideration. Your personals were good too, overall you just had wording issues here.

Concise: Some missteps with your multi's but pretty good verse here. Vocab & flow stood out here, your concepts had potential but lacked the in-depth set ups to have your punchlines be more impactful. You fell off towards the end too, just focused on rhyming rather then connecting ideas together. Overall you've definitely elevated but you've gotta work on your punchlines still, you can still spaz out on rhyming but keep the relevance throughout.

Overall: Really close battle here, both had high & low levels throughout, my winner edged this by fully executing more punchlines, throwing more insults, technically it was pretty even, loser just focused too much on flow which hurt their execution.

I was going back and forth on the vote a lot, but after going through, I think Apollyon should get juice for his more creative approaches and unique angles. Felt like Concise's multis were a bit too scattered and punches didn't go anywhere "you're scared trying to bunt"..."filler than a build a bear", etc. Either it was a played out punch or it doesn't really hit hard. Scared to bunt? Really?
