Both were good but I just think Mask's was more impressive in terms of setup, multis, and better bars outside of the final punchline.

Solid bars here, I really liked Masked's line about John Cena gifts, that was nice. The ending was good but it felt off, I think it's the "xenolith/xen a lift" it's hard to get that to rhyme properly so that's a bit of a setback. Phroxen had a nice consistent theme in his bar, really dug the Jimi Hendrix concept and everything about the bar tied in nicely. I'm giving this one to Phroxen for a really solid bar. Fair vote in, no hate.

as a huge jimi hendrix fan Phroxen's bar hit a bit harder, Imo. I like MR's bars but in comparison one def took it.. fv no h8!!!

Just feel one had a smoother delivery with readability. Also relevance is also a big thing.if I don't get it i don't get it. Fv as always

Why is he ancient? Is Phroxen old? How would I know that to make sense of it? Or are you only calling him ancient because you want to force the Xenolith thing? 

Phroxen's bars seemed less forced and the flew was more consistent. 

Mask - I have an immediate issue with the bar, in that it doesnt rhyme. Shopping/Coffin/Longest? They aren't even close. With that said, I understand that maybe its just with my accent or non accent or whatever that is making it all f-cked up. Anyway, hate the John Cena jab, because it's ultimately really corny. The actual punch of the bar though xen-a-lift is cool. But, the wordplay is kind of broken. I think it could be another pronunciation thing but lift does not = lith even if I try to slant it. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though because I did it in our battle and half the populus thinks Im an idiot lol....

Xen- I have somewhat the same issue I did with Masks. However, I can at least make them come really close to rhyming in my brain when I want to say them out loud because there is a ton of assonance there. It was a nice lead up with, contents killing you, pick is bizzare.

Overall - Both are cool, I have some multi issues with one, and some conceptual issues that I just did not like very much. The other had a solid concept for the whole bar and pulled it off nicely. Votes going to what I believe to be more polished.

The winner had a better execution & smooth read while the other’s concept was nice, but multis weren’t as strong. Fair’s in.
