Rican had 4 or 5 nice punches. Adams family, wake and bake, take the cake were all nice. And I liked his closer better. I can see it going either way

As Rican commented, it's a solid concept but simple enough to have been seen before. Still a decent bar tho I think you could've pushed the execution better, maybe something more creative than just "punch holes", it's not rly like you were fitting that to a scheme. Speaking of which, a seperate internal scheme would be a good enhancement. +.75

Overall: Rican came more technically sound. Flow & wording was more solid & the concepts were a bit more fresh & developed. Punches ended up hitting a bit harder. Gb. 

OK I re-read it & just want to say that I went a bit harder than I should've on you Reap, it def read better second time around, I think I'm just stoned hahah. You shoulda had like a 7.5 Total or som. Still same result though so no harm done.

Masked-Reaper's opener, upon reading the expo, really wasn't bad. I thought it was weak but upon reading the exposition it quote reference in relation to Lets Beef makes sense and is actually both pretty funny and hard-hitting. Overall, I feel like that the dude had much better set-ups for his bars overall and the punchlines came in way stronger. The Distant Cousins in Nigeria bar was fucking hilarious too for the record.

Rican came in with some heavy-hitting punchlines that got straight to the point more efficiently than his opponent's, but on the downside they weren't as creatively complex and therefore didn't pack as much of a punch. Like his MAN OF FEW WORDS bar was a bit too straight-forward for me here. The lines definitely connected to form a solid punch, but it was too simple. The same can be said with the majority of his verse here albeit it wasn't even bad. I have to give Rican credit for that closing bar though. That was fucking creative. If he had more bars like that throughout his verse then the dude probably would've won this battle for me. 

Respect to both, dropped some fairness.

First of all GREAT to see this battle go down, better late then never for sure, both brought on the HEAT here! Now on to the breakdowns...

Masked-Reaper: Opening punch could've been worded better, just didn't sound that natural, punch didn't hit hard for me either, it's not like he's hiding he's got a Twitter account or anything. Rihanna/Rican bars are SUPER played at this point BUT you're semi-new here so I'll give you a pass, with that being said, nice flow but felt like more like a jab, didn't have the sting/full power of a punch to me. Van Damme/Kicks is a pretty played concept too, heard it too many times to be considered fresh. One Man Banned was FIRE doe, hit really hard considering it's personal. Some advice, don't downplay your own lines cause then people think you didn't try as hard / they judge it accordingly, Sombrero lines was good but he's Puerto Rican, it's more a Mexican hat. Funny line here, personal hit hard too. Manly punch just didn't land for me, beginning part went w/ the last bar but it was just filler for the punch which was just too wordy for me. Step Daughter punch was funny & good but wording could've cleaner. Finisher could've been better, didn't fit w/ the rest of your verse / didn't end of a high note. Overall: Concepts & punches were there but you had too many wording issues, nice use of personals though, that definitely elevated your verse here. 7/10

Rican: Opener could've been worded better, good concept though. Addams punch was good, a lil' played but clean delivery. Great punch here w/ Cake, relevant setup too. Q*Bert/Few Words was GREAT, throwback mention, plus he doesn't have a mouth so the punch really hit hard. Laughed at the first part but Aflac didn't land for me, setup was all over the place too. This last part was good, short jabs but good concepts all around, Card Up Sleeve/Poker, Sig(Cig)/Old Smoker, Push Me/Joker and YOU/For Love/Joe Goldberg all were great connections. Finisher wasn't the greatest, y'all tied on them but funny personal even if it's a lil' played. Overall: Started off slow but finished strong, concepts and punches hit hard, you had some wording issues too but enough to take the W here 8/10

MR: Twittler line was cool, manly girlfriend line was funny, stepdaughter and thor's hammer line were both good, nice way to end the verse.

R: Liked the addams family line, man of few words was nice,  solid verse but not as many wow moments as your opponent, close battle guys.

Fire battle. Both brought the heat. Masked had some clever lines, one was stretched and still delivered nice. Rican opener was real cool. Closer didn't rhyme but you had quotables. Could go either way. Winner had more lines that stood out imo

Great battle. Really solid verse from Reaper, the wording and structure was among the best I've seen. I thought it was over when I finished reading. Then Rican's first few bars were so creative it was great but for me the verse weakened as it went on. Fantastic battle. 

This was a nice battle and surprisingly close. I like the verses that can switch up- avoiding that textbook style of battling, and Rican was proficient in bringing that switch up style. I saw from the first bar he wanted to showcase some skill with all the complexity, but I also saw weakness in his set ups mid way thru and the closer was a few jabs rather than a finisher. There was a gap in the beginning of the verse too that coulda fit another punch.

Reaper you had some good highs and a well written verse not lacking in anything major, except for creativity. Chris Brown, Thor, just not fresh ideas. That one man banned line had great potential but needed a little tweaking. Syllables lined up nice and stayed consistent but it also cost you readability and some sentences sounded really unnatural and I had to re-read over again to find the tempo.

One guy barely gets the W. 

This was a fire battle aside from Masked's closer w/ the awkward slant rhyming in the end and Rican's flow was off at points like in his opener and he had a lil too much self hype in his closer too. I'm leaning towards Masked for having a more fluent and consistent flow throughout. Both had solid punches
