so this wound up coming down to the fact i think rican had slighty better concepts, but i thought both struggled a lot, and are capable of more.

one thing that dissapointed me is the amount of personals i thought i would see here, but just didn't (was this a double blind drop? if so ignore this)

i thought a lot of the punches here were held back by wording or logical issues, for example, the pain and panic bar, i dont think hades turned them into worms, i think it was just an animation thing, also hades didn't "meet" them he's always known them, but the real actually issue is the fact that turning someone to worms is kind of forced, like i think what you mean is they'll be "food for the worms" when they're dead, and therefore you killed them, but also, you didn't turn them into worms. idk maybe i think about battle rap too much. maybe it's not supposed to make sense.

odin, i think you just came light, didn't really throw a haymaker at all, just a lot of simple jabs, speaking of jabs, your first line had a lot of setup for a semi forced punch that wasn't very creative.

This was really really really dope, reading Odin's line almost made me say this dude clearly won but when I hopped on ricans line, ma decisions went other wise, I mean the opener was cleverly witty and that undertaker line could be done better but it was dope. Multis wise Rican followed the multis till the end, while Odin's was just not to convincing. Either ways dope brawl y'all

Hoe-kay! U in 'Ruin wit ya old ways', that's an ANCIENT PASSAGE as I'm firin' off the top, no BLAZING ATTIC. You could only be this 'close to a legend' if you a TRACED A MAP, BITCH. I look at your eyes & I see a 'dead man inside', Undertaker's FLAMIN' CASKET!/ He ain't fucking-with-this-Ric. Been antsy, I'll be buggin' with the stick. No PRAYING MANTIS! Caught him with his bitch,..Akward couple, saw the devil inside when I AIMED THE RATCHET, literally turning those 'two to worms' like when Hades met PAIN & PANIC!!/[X_x!] I'll let the whole 'cig brand' their chest in: RACING JACKET!!/

This was a close spar here boys. What separated the two was one had slightly more hitting punches.

Rican had a better swag... Odins execution was better.. Punch wise although Ricans bars were a lil played conceptually they were still hitting a little harder. The praying mantis line was cool.. just the execution and wording was a little off.

This was a close call here. But gotta keep it 100... Rican edged this slightly for me because of the better punches.

Was a good read though. If you need any more of an expo just hit me up.

The Demon

This was real close, Odin had the better concepts but Rican had the better flow & multis. Only way I can split this is who took more catorgories. And that was Rican:

Fair vote. GL both

Y'all both the homies so you know this the fair one.. I feel rican brought more to the table as far as concepts

odin

removing tats was cool

i wasnt personally feeling the recycling rhymes reusing jabs build up and punch

Smile being divorced was funny

slipping while bowling line was iight

.. rican

ruin ya old ways Line was fire. wasn't thrilled with the blazing attic

Traced a map was cool

those two lines make Odin's reusing jabs line a lil more effective.. but in the same sense y'all both know using concepts like those they need to really have a fresh twist... anyway

flamin casket was iight

buggin with the stick was cool

pain and panic line and build up was cool

ender was alright

so again rican brought a lil more to the table here. A 16 definitely would've gave Odin some more room to work ya magic. fairs in fellas. Slight edge

Both had some dope shit and some misses. I felt Odin was hitting much more consistent here. He also won the battle of YouTube links imho

ChatterBox

Edged it out with more a more consistent verse. Rican was decent but some of the concepts I felt didn't connect as strongly as they could've.

Gonna do a long ass vote before I go to sleep here cos I think this was a lit battle that deserves one; apologies if anything doesn't make sense I'm very tired lol

Odin

Opener ... REMOVING TATTS

Decent opening punch, not particularly personally relevant or super creative but a nice jab to start

This junkies ... REUSING JABS

I just thought this was really good, I love a punch where the final multi is itself a double entendre, all in all really liked this.

Mans style ... DIVORCED FOR YEARS

Wasn't really a punch; I thought the final line was funny but not particularly hard hitting from a battle point of view.

Claim he's ... SLIPPIN WHILE BOWLING

I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that this wasn't a ROUNDS bar cos you didn't put it in quotation marks, but that was the first thing that caught my eye. Without the potential ROUNDS wordplay the punch is actually kinda weak, despite having a pretty slick flow going.

Rican

Hoe-kay!

love to see it

U in ... FLAMIN CASKET

I often see you use these consecutive schemed one-liners, and I'm not always a fan, but I think this was a solid way to open. I think each of the four punches had slight wording errors, but I also got the meaning of all of them on my first read so it didn't hold you back too much. That being said, I think the one liners on their own aren't strong enough to leave me with something memorable to win a battle.

He ain't ... PRAYING MANTIS

The internal multis gave this a nice flow, but honestly I thought the punch was pretty weak here. A praying mantis is a specific, well-known type of insect that you could do lots of specific set ups about, but "antsy" and "buggin with the stick" were super generic and could be just about anything. I assume you were just sniping the double blind, but would still have loved to see you do more with this.

Caught him ... PAIN & PANIC

I think the concept was cool, but I really just don't get how you're gonna literally turn two people to worms by aiming the ratchet. This needed to be worded quite differently to land properly.

[X_x!] ... RACING JACKET

Again solid one liner to close; I didn't realise how much I'd missed the faces lol. Again worded a bit awkwardly which limited its impact but decent concept and made sense on first read.

Hmmm this is really tough. Odin had 1 solid one-liner plus one standout punch, with not much else landing properly, whereas Rican had 5 or 6 solid one liners, with a miss or two.

I guess Rican left me with more to remember, particularly since he opened and closed solidly whereas Odin's good shit was all right at the start. I think this could deservedly go either way, and with a double blind I imagine you both were writing way below full strength, so would be keen af to see a rematch of some sort when you're both at full strength.
