Decent spar here, gents. I have Squammy taking the win here in this one by having the stronger material, smoother flowing piece and better connections in his setups to the punchlines. Props to both. Fairs in. 

Expo for some - “That’s Life/Somethin’ Stupid/My Way/Mack the Knife” are “Swing” songs by “Frank Sinatra”. In Split James Macavoy's character has multiple personalities and there's a famous scene where he is behind steel bars and bends them. Macc lies on here about going to prison.

SQUAMMY

Really enjoyed the content from both here, but I just thought Squammy was a step ahead with the Mack the Knife bar which was BOTB plus generally great consistency. MaCc seemed to focus on flow over punches in the second half which hurt his impact, 

fair vote no hate went with the natural selection line felt that was a ko but good battle really close teaf

Solid to both but I liked Squammy's last line more and he had more clever references

Aight great job fellahs... so Mac scheme work is always dope. I mean the multis landed flush. A cpl jabs but I felt like the punch power behind macc verse wasn't there.  He attacked but it was pretty straight forward filler if u will. As where squammy scheme work equally matched his opponents but then added stronger hitting punches&Personals so overall I think squammy edged this battle wit a stronger attack

Macc you have to set up your punches so that hit harder.. Not a bad verse though.. Squammy your shit was good.. Smooth and clean and the punches were creative..

Good read on both sides n I feel this is an even matchup so it was a hard choice for winner.

Imo Mac had cleaner multis and a smooth flow and my fav was the annoying accent line cuz well I enjoy the humor lol. As for squammy I really enjoyed the wordplay and the connections between all of the components. Fav was the whole Sinatra bit, very creative and I liked the internal rhymes too. I could learn a lot from you both, thanks for the read!

Got Squam on this one. His ideas were constructed well and the Split scheme hit hard. Macc your verse made me chuckle, but other than that there wasn't any complexity to it. Fairs

Quality battle guys throrougly enjoyed it. I'm going to edge this to Squammy here but MaCc Da G0D was great with it too.

As a Brit myself the "accent" punch made me chuckle and I thought your writing was tailored & direct as a whole.

For me though, the difference here comes in the angles that Squammy brought with him. The "Killed for not evolving" and the "Macavoy" punches were highlights for me and really clever.

As I said, great battle, but I feel Squammy just edges it here.

This was a hard one to judge, Mac im still in awe from that MJ Thriller, but you didnt have that same swag in this battle, seems Smuammy got alil personal and came abit harder. You did ya thing but I gotta go with the logo MAY THE BEST BARS WIN! 7.5 to 7.8
