"Making tracks" is an expression meaning go away/leave

There was a famous(?) grudge match between EtH and Cel where EtH put links to screenshots of pictures of Cel's family in the box as part of his verse

The "untouchable caste" is the lowest social class in India's caste system, they are called that because it's considered dirty to touch them or something like that

Nice battle. Shame it ain't got more votes. I thought both sides had some nice bars. Saaxxx I thought the 47, ichigo, and Fibonacci bars were your high points. You also had a few concepts in there that weren't as creative and in other spots the wording could have been cleaner. Kiwi, I thought the opener was clever and funny with a good personal angle. Your closer was another solid bar and a great way to end it with an impact. There were some done to death concepts like fishing/lines and bowling strike/spare. I think the wording and execution though was cleaner on Kiwis side though and there weren't any examples of broken multis while Saaxxx had one of note. So when I take finer details and consistency into account, I gotta give this to Kiwi.

This was a great battle, and it's disappointing that it's being slept on.

Saxxx, I believe you stepped it up here conceptually. I can tell you really tried to think out some creative concepts and nameplays. The downfall of your verse was the execution and wording issues. You had multiple cases where the rhymeschemes seemed forced or unnatural. For example, Itemizing Bills and Ionized His Spits don't work well because Bills and Spits don't have rhythmic cohesiveness. Same with kiWI'S BEEN THROWING FEELS like a void and so PREDISPOSED AND WEAK. I just feel like you could have done a better job bringing your ideas together and this also would have helped with the overall flow and feel of your drop.

Kiwi, your reponse was nice bro. The schemes you threaded together were very seamless/fluid and your ideas themselves were good as well. I'll have to give the nod creatively to Saxxx, although you had both the best constructed and hardest hitting bar of the battle in

I'll "strike every time" he's tryna "ROLL IN MY LANE" so "there's a slim chance I'll spare em" like I'm BOWLIN SOME FRAMES as a PRO AT THE GAME!

Although this was a set up to a bigger punch, I feel the flow, structure, and idea here was executed perfectly.

Great battle guys. I have KP in a low 9 to low 8 marginal vote.

Yoooooo this shit was really dope! Saxx man i gotta say you impressed me here some really nice punches your opener and bankruptcy ledgers was haymakers plus you closed it nice well done. Talent you had the same with a bit better consistency and a couple more punches that stood out. Scheme work from pro at the game to decomposin remains is what sealed it for me. Plus that chambermaid play was botb imo. Salute and RESPECT to both thanks for the dope read fellas fairs in

ROTY battle. This was a nice read from both. This is the best I've ever seen from Saaxxx, and I think the first time seeing content from Kiwi. I think peewee had the upper hand in this one with harder punches, like his opener is a pretty good diss. I did like the "Jim Carrying this yes man" from Saaxxx. Very cool battle.

Aight so this is pretty close and deserving of more than a quick vote, so I'll break down both verses bar-by-bar and give the win to whoever has more points at the end.

The Saaxxx Baba -

47's tattoo - Alright punch, relevant buildup and pretty good flow. +2

Itemizing bills - Very much a shortbar, still hits ok though. +2

Ionized his spits - Doesn't really work in my accent but I'll give you an ESL pass. Clever punch, but executed in a stretched way imo. +1

Prized Onyx - IMO this doesn't really make sense even after I read the expo. A stretch. +0

Ichigo in Bleach - Again, rhyming doesn't work for me but I'll overlook it. Nice punch, solid execution. +2

Rudy Ray Moore - I really liked the setup here, with the multiple relevant references, although the punch itself was just decent. +2

Bankruptcy Ledgers - Just an okay punch. Setup flows nicely but isn't particularly relevant. +2

Comedy Flicks - I liked this just because I know KP and Rieper are actually pretty close lol. Rhyming is a bit stretched (politics / comedy) but the punch still sold it. +2

Fibonacci Series - Idk what it means to sum up a predecessor in the context of LB so this is a reach imo. I get the math part but that doesn't sell me on the whole bar. +1

Karate Lessons - Well thanks for the shout-out lol. I got this because I know my name has several distinct meanings (which is why I chose it haha). And yeah I agree with this bar but I'll try not to let that factor into my decision. The concept itself isn't particularly clever, but the personal angle adds to it. +2

Overall: +16

Kiwi Peewee

Making tracks - I only got this one because you showed it to me for feedback beforehand haha. But anyway I like it, it's a nice opener, although afaik Saaxxx has never shown any interest in making tracks in the musical sense so the concept loses some of its sting right there. +2

Lines have been super stretched - This took me a moment to get the fishing reference but I really liked it. Very nice concept, and personal too (I guess, I don't recall this happening). +3

Mexican Wave - Really solid bar here. Multiple relevant setups, great rhyming, and solid payoff even though similar concepts have been done before iirc. +3

Bowlin some frames - Eh, bowling bars are overdone and this wasn't clever enough to redeem itself imo. Still alright though. +2

Decomposing remains - IMO this takes too long to get to a fairly weak and non-personal punchline, but it's not bad. Just not good. +1

Chambermaid - I think this takes up too much space in the box versus what it actually leads too, but it's still a nice punch. Also, as I mentioned when I was giving feed on it, I think "VERY WEALTHY'S KIDS" is a somewhat awkward multi. Still a clever punchline though. +3

Untouchable caste - Honestly I think there's a conceptual reach going from killing him from a distance / untouchable caste, but it's just sensible enough to be called "clever" instead of "a total fucking reach." I like the personal angle here and the concept is something I haven't seen done before. Solid closer overall. +2

Overall: +16

Aight, so fuck me, that's a tie... Uhh...

Okay. For the tiebreaker, I'm going to talk about these verses from a bird's-eye-view perspective. And what I think has KP winning this is that he didn't have any punches I thought were just plain bad. The worst was Decomposing Remains which wasn't particularly bad, whereas TSB had the Onyx thing which I didn't like at all. So, that's pretty much the only thing this comes down to in the end. Also I thought Kiwi had better rhyming but I give TSB a pass for that since he's Indian and doesn't speak English as a first language iirc. Giving out double dimes here for a tournament final. Fair's in.

good battle guys. and most importantly, congrats on making it to the finals which is why you both got higher rates. proud of you both. i went with kiwi here though because he was definitely more consistent. saxx had some fire ideas but excecution lacked just a tiny bit which kind've gave kiwi the lead. Like i said, either way its a nice finals and you both deserve some sort of reward regardless of whoever wins.

Great clash. Will go detailed since its a title match.

Saaxxx you came out swinging with a simple yet clean simile and that set the tone. There's some hard, creative hard stuff in here and its one of the better verses I've seen lately. You had some good wordplay like the Jim Carrey and Dolemite stuff, and some good personals aimed at Kiwi, but I have an issue with your punchlines. There are 12 single meaning similes in this 16 line verse, and it got really repetitive with every bar being "this like that", "couldn't be this unless you were that" kinda thing. Even if some were really good similes, like the Fibonacci one, that's basically all your actual punchlines were, with only one meaning. You're super talented but to really elevate I wanna see your punchlines have more variety.

Kiwi the first thing that struck me is how clean your rhymes were. Normally people (including a lot of the vets) really force awkward wording to get more syllables matching but yours felt organic whole way through. Love that. First line is great and an example of what Saaxxx was missing, as this personal worked both ways and hit hard. Closer is fire too, super creative. Similes are good too, and I have no issue with good similes as long as the verse has other stuff in it too, and you kept the variety better than your opponent.

I think both guys came near enough equally hard but Kiwi's was cleaner, more varied, and broke his opponent down more. For my tastes there's only one way I'll ever vote this battle. Fairs.

Both were very impressive here. Saaxxx, this is the cleanest writing I've read from you so far. The flow was on point throughout. Kiwi also had clean writing as well, but I felt there was more wittiness behind his lines. Thanks for a dope ROTY finals fellas. It was Dope!

Saaxx had some pretty briliant lines here. But, I think top to bottom over the course of the 16, he had more low low's than Kiwi, and less high highs. And, Kiwi just had cleaner execution top to bottom. Nothing that seemed to be worded oddly or sounded iffy (even accounting for accents). This is honestly a great rookie final. I just think Kiwi was a cut above here.
