This is gonna be a tough call to make. Both had some nice shit going on, I'll be back to vote on this when I've had a chance to think it through.

Not Bad. Both of these guys had some clever ideas as well as some that were a little bit simple and done before. I gotta lean toward Saaxxx here for executing a few of his concepts better and having an overall cleaner read. Good luck to whoever goes onward

Since this is a tourney battle I'm gonna keep my vote concealed here.

Saaxxx, I think you had a lot of punches that were well-executed, but a bit basic or played (Chinese/chinks being the most notable). Your opening volley was solid if not exciting, although your "grave goods" punch was poorly worded and reasonably weak. The Pisces punch at the end was creative and had the potential to be a real haymaker, but "pisces chicks = fishes" just wasn't the right way to word it.

Wolf, your opener I thought was terrible the first time I read it, because it seemed like you were basically saying "I'm gonna get beaten up", but then when I re-read it it made more sense and was actually a solid punch. Try not to word things in such a way that they're unclear or can be misinterpreted though; sometimes its as simple as when you have a wordplay, writing out the direct meaning of the wordplay instead of the double meaning. From there your lines skirted with being a bit to pauseworthy in a few spots, but I thought the lubrication punch was fire. Sometimes your multis were needlessly long which actually impacted how smooth the punch was – for instance, "FABULOUSLY WRECKING PRODUCERS NECKS" doesn't sound that natural, whereas "wrecking producers' necks/checking computer specs" would have been an effective and natural-sounding multi, so the bar would actually be stronger without needlessly lengthening the multi. From that point I think you were just trying to pull off over-complicated concepts and didn't land anything notable past that line.

This is a very difficult call to make for me. I felt Saaxxx was much more consistent, and also had the botb with the rocket/racoon line, whereas Wolf was more hit-and-miss, but had more creative ideas and more highlights than Saaxxx, although he also had much more material that just didn't work. This one's a close decision in my opinion but I have my winner edging it. Good luck to whoever goes through, and well done to both because you both had some really good punches in your verses that showed where you could be hitting at a consistently heavyweight level if you keep working at it.
