Idk man. I gotta go with macc on this one. Both had punch count nd their fair share of played stuff, however macc had flow and swag on side. Also had the botb...that arguement line was nasty. Fair in dudes. 

Also, macc, avoid putting quotations around stuff that doesn't need it in the future. Juat because it rhymes doesent mean it has to be in '...'

Concepts:

Edgeworth had the better ideas here compared to Macc. Nothing that I felt was played, it was all creative and quite fresh.

Macc, you had ideas that could've been worded differently to bring a more creative punch, but you didn't really set up some of your concepts in that way.

Execution:

Both did quite well in terms of smoothness and naturalness. 

The main difference was that Edge had a lot more coherence, all his setups related to the overall concept. 

Whereas Macc didn't really keep shit relevant. Also the wp in the 2nd bar didn't work both ways. What does 'I don't carrots it's no peas' even mean? Unless 'carrots' is a verb or something it don't work. 

Punches:

Both started well, but Edge's punch had a lot more sting behind it due to the way he'd executed it. Macc imo the 'Consequence? Me Hittin' this 'ARTIST W/ the HARDEST HITS!'' was filler, it didn't relate to your overall concept.

The middle of both verses was the game changer here. Where Edge kept up and brought a witty line that was quite funny and clever, Macc went too complex and had that wp that just didn't work. Edge's Van Buuren line was dope and I also liked Macc's heart line, the wp was less choppy but it kinda worked this time around.

Edge's close was my fav bar in this battle, that shit was niice. Macc had a clever closer but the set up line to it didn't make sense, what's a MACC RELIGION? 

Overall:

Macc had punches that he could've reworded to give 'em more impact and also at times his execution made shit choppy i.e. the wp.

Edge was more consistent w/ bringing solid punches with good execution and had a dope verse start to finish.

I'm going to use my version of Edgeworth's scorecard scheme for this vote. Negative numbers  = bad bar. 0 = meh. 1 = decent bar. 2 or higher = dope / fire.

- Solid line, definitely your bar of the battle. It's kind of a reach in that splitting someone's face wouldn't necessarily give them two different views beyond what they already see from having two eyes, though. I still think it works well enough regardless. +2

- Your previous line was good, but this was absolutely putrid. First off, carrots / care it's is a well-known wordplay, and peas / peace is not only overdone but horrible since the ending consonants of the two words are different. It's also ungrammatical. Whenever you use a wordplay, you want to make sure that the entire sentence stays grammatically correct with both readings. In this case, "I don't carrots no peas" is a completely illiterate pile of nonsense. This earns you a solid -2.

How Can This 'FAGGOT PROFESS?' He's 'TRAGIC AND VEXED!' ..'AVERAGE AT BEST!' ..Ya 'Jabs Are Light' I Got 'Hard Attacks/Heart' got em 'GRABBING HIS CHEST!!'

- This wordplay, at least, sounds more or less the same both ways and works grammatically, so it's better than the ones in the previous bar. It was also well-executed, with a tight flow enabled by close-together multis. However, the actual concept (heart / hard) is so basic that I can't give this any more than a 0.

- This is another 0. There wasn't anything BAD about it per se, but this concept and execution were both unimpressive.

- A clean shortbar. One thing that struck me instantly is that the multi sets were longer than any in MaCc's verse, which immediately made a psychological impression of you being the more skillful rhyme artisan. That's definitely a worthwhile tactic to employ, although I doubt that you consciously did so (especially considering that this was a blind drop). The setup needed to be a bit specific in order to work, but it wasn't really stretched. The punch was alright, but nothing to write home about. +1

- This took me a moment to get, but JESUS FUCK it is hot. It's a short bar without particularly amazing execution, but it didn't need any bells or whistles to send MaCc to a burn center. +3

- I'll admit to having used these reference-list bars before, but they aren't particularly hard-hitting in most cases, and this wasn't an exception. They're easy to write but you get what you pay for. Also, I didn't recognize Armin van Buuren without Googling him, which decreased the impact of the bar for me in accordance with the "don't explain the joke" principle. Pretty much filler. 0

All ya wins are snipes so I got no reason to BELIEVE THAT MACC IS AMAZING, You'd only "Aim for a Body on Paper" w/ POLICE ACADEMY TRAINING!!!

- Solid line. Not nearly as memorable as the PokerStars line, but it's definitely at a level that would be typical in an upper-card LBT match or the later rounds of a strong tournament. +1

I have Edgeworth winning 5-0. He brought a relatively simple "shortbar" style and his punch strength was inconsistent, but he still overwhelmed his opponent regardless. MaCc had one solid bar (his opener) but the rest ranged from mediocre to trash. Fair's in.
