Another expo: Mighty Joe Young was a movie about a gorilla who in the begining ripped off a dude's fingers.

Thought this one was pretty clear. Due to reaaaaaally long 1st 2 lines from Student, he was only able to fit 3 punches into his 8. The punches themselves were pretty good, but the execution was lacking for sure in the wording and the Multis having jagged rhyming. KG had wording issues as well, but felt he was more consistent with his punch count, rhyming, and just connecting better with some decent punches. FV gl to both.

^^^^setup was ok, as a punch wasnt really a diss,  kinda statementish, and not hurtful

felt mc KG, hit a bit more, efficiently, student had slightly more creativity conceptually but, was too wordy in between, and hence hits were far and between.... with that, i give the nudge to KG, had student, utilized more punches, he'd have takin this due to creative punches

MC KG brought a verse that was more custom-made for his opponent, talking about everything from his crew to his knack for gifs. The punches weren't too heavy, but they were a lot clearer. Student had some awkward wording at certain points and some of his multies could've been more congruent. I felt KG did better overall. MVGT MC KG 5-4

To me, the only thing that edged this was punches...felt one hit harder than the other...was feelin' the GENETIC MODIFICATION line. Both came with nice flow and structure, etc....but yall dont need to hear that from me.

I read this few times over, at the start I was thinking Student, but I am edging this to KG now. Heres why:

KG's first bar, didn't hold much impact at all, it wasn't a hard blow because of the concept choice and the words in quotations, held no real alternative or witty meaning to them, it was quite simple. I will say the RHYMING was cool for once in a KG verse lol, brought the buzz bit was kinda weak, coulda' worded that better... The swat bit was nice, I liked it. Genetic modifcation was decent, and I would say easily your closer was the best because it had good rhyming, it was personal, and concept choice was decent -wording could of been fixed up a bit though. Think of a line like you are describing the situation perfectly for the reader with the words outside of the "quotes" and CAPS. This bar could of been executed much better.

Student first line was stretched but cee-lo was okay, kinda of a reach cause you never mentioned HVK or anything else about him  for us to get it without the expo. Stark comparison / snarlin joffery was cool, but I think your bars are too wordy before getting to the punch, so try to get the same message off, with less words. Back to the future line was good, the bit before the punch wasn't wordy. Punches have more impact that way. The rest of your bars were pretty clean in comparison to the start of your verse for sure. They just didn't hit hard, mighty joe / gorilas ripping off limbs just didn't hit hard to me. Runnin the pharcyde was cool, I fuck with J Dilla. 

If Student didn't have the super stretched out lines at the start, and had a more tight knit structure like KG's? He would of got the W. To me, he wasted quite a bit of space, and in a 8- it is costly. Fairs is explained, good battle and good-luck!

I think MC KG won with a simply more coherent verse. The first half of Student's drop felt like borderline rambling, with severely spaced out multies and a mix of references instead of punchlines. The second half had an incredibly overwrought punch with bad rhyming, followed by a less overwrought punch with bad rhyming. Overall, not really an impressive battle but I have to give it to MC KG based on better execution and mediocre but readable punches. Fair's in.
