This was mad close. This verse from Rai was one of the strongest Ive seen from him. He set a lot of his bars up well with relevant, well worded references. If I have any critique at all is the ones with references through the 4 line setup(ex: Timberlake opener) kinda made the punch a bit predictable when you got there even though the execution was right on. Flow on point with solid rhymes as usual. I saw the movies, so imagery on Pinocchio and Hoffa punches helped hit harder. Chastity belt line was cool and Ipkiss closer was good. 7 nameplay bars was a bit redundant, though. Lock I thought started slower but got to the Blue Ray punch that hit hard. The middle was up and down til the ghostwriter personal. Phone on stomach bar fell flat but the incest closer was another haymaker and a really clever play. Well worded and executed as always. Gotta go with Lock for having two of the three hardest hitting personals in this battle...could go eitherway though. good luck to both yall 

gotta go with tha better verse here, winner had crazy personals and his concepts were dope, setups were nice too, a lot of ya bars made me lmao haha ... loser here did nicely and came with better concepts but tha personals started towards the ending, imo more of these and you would've taken it ... giving it to tha emcee with tha harder and more personal packed punches, dope shit tho, could go both ways easily ... fairs in ... .OPS.

Rai you started off strong, but you overdid it with all the nameplays. Alot of them didn't really hit and there were too many bland moments in your verse. Lock, i didnt feel like you came with your usual fire, idk if it was the Audio Scheme or what. Bluray line was cool, coulda had a way better setup tho. All in all a pretty cool champ match, lil disappointed tho. Hard decision but got my winner.

- You came heavy right out of the gate with this one. Mentioning his real name was a good personal way to start off the bar, if less effective now that it's common knowledge. The N'Sync wordplay was slightly awkward honestly, but I liked how that concept connected to both the Justin Timberlake ending and the idea of him being disloyal. The only major problem with this bar was "THICKEST DAME IN KNOWN CLUBS", which was seriously awkwardly worded. 8/10

There's "No Future In The Battle Scene" for him, coz he wasn't cut THROAT WITH HIS VERSE So when I "Take Em Out, Likitysplit" get a "ROPE" FOR THIS NERD You'd think "Jimmy Was In 8Mile" How I'ma make him CHOKE ON HIS WORDS!!

- eh, this bar's concept is just a really obvious play on his name being James/Jimmy. Sticking to a concept is one thing, but you have so many concepts in your verse that tie into his name that it becomes boring after a while. And 8 Mile-related concepts are probably all done to death. I just wasn't feeling this bar, honestly. 6/10

To Dirty Work you were just a "Puppet On A String"; same kind Jepetto SAT DOWN ON HIS SHELF That "Long Nose On Your Face", shows you're just a CLASS CLOWN WITH A BELT "The Pinocchio of his crew"... Always "Making an ASS OUT OF HIMSELF" !!

- First off, whonahell is Jepetto? Was the long nose thing supposed to tie into him having a gun in his face? And the last concept wasn't too interesting, the punch was pretty obvious from the setup. 5.5/10

- Okay... I can't disapprove too strongly of Roald Dahl bars, lmao, but neither of these concepts were particularly creative. In both cases, you said something in quotes as your setup, and followed it up with something that was an obvious as hell play on that. 6/10

- First off, you misspelled the word "audacity"!! REEEEEEEE!!!! Anyway, the concept felt kind of forced (what does a Low Key have to do with a chastity restraint any more than a regular key), and so did the wording ("STRAPPING PIECE IN PLACE" is quite odd, and I've never heard of a Chastity Restraint although I've heard of a Chastity Belt before). At least the bar took a personal angle. 6/10

- Eh... this bar felt forced to me. Literary/Literal, and "stabbing school books" is just weird as hell. I get what you were going for but this concept just wasn't good enough to make up for how strange it was. 6.5/10

Scheme Tourney, it's clear we saw you HAD TO STRETCH YOUR WRITTENS plus your delivery sucked, it showed you "didn't care you came up short" like APATHETIC MIDGETS! Fell out at the 2nd cause there was no RAPPING PRESENCE IN IT so why'd you-claim you could "step up to Bleu, Rai"? You "LACK THE DEFINITION"!!

- That Apathetic Midgets bar is hilarious, and hilariously paradoxical: it's great, and yet it also borders on BATS territory. The Bleu-Rai WP wasn't particularly creative but it was solid, especially with good execution and a personal angle to back it up. 7.5/10

- Aside from one instance of awkward wording (HOSPITAL, MID-NIGHT), this bar was solidly executed. Cold body - crack under pressure - walking on thin ice was a moderately creative conceptual framework at best, and similar shit has definitely been said before, but I still liked the punch. 7.5/10

- Hmm, another personal angle, this time relating to the idea that he had a ghostwriter. I haven't looked into that contention so I don't know what to believe about it, but honestly I thought that the home buyers punch was the best part of this bar. I didn't feel the setup-punch connection in the anonymous ghostwriter part. 6.5/10

Before you paid him off, face-it-dawg: Them BARS YOU BROUGHT WERE RUBBISH, you couldn't "dial up those connections" calling a NARC W/ LOTS OF SUBSTANCE! You got plenty funds? You got subtracted from the household in SHAME BECAUSE YOU TOUCHED HER and left a fam'ly "divided" cause you thought "AGE WAS JUST A NUMBER"!!

- Niggas on here need to stop with the fake news, but this was still funny. In fact, it was so over-the-top and absurd that I couldn't help but find it amusing even if its execution were shit. Fortunately, it wasn't, although the simplicity of the ending concept didn't appeal to me. This might have actually been better as a non-bar (i.e., without an ending concept), although having a real creative punch would have been best. 8/10

Now that I've broken down both verses bar-by-bar, I disagree with what I wrote about this shit being super close. I think one won fairly clearly, despite having the WBOTB (Worst Bar of the Battle) and some stylistic errors, because his opponent was simply less creative and made more mistakes. Fair's in.

Very even match up tough to call so skill aside I liked my winners drop a tad more

Ok guys. First off, dope battle. I was pretty entertained here. Rai came with some nice personals. Lock had some pretty dope bars, the bluray for example was set up well, worded well, and clever enough to hit hard.  I've read this battle a couple times and for me it's coming down to variety, creativity, and how the bars are transitioning from set up to finish. My winner just executed cleaner with an overall better flow and structure.  Would love to see a rematch sometime.

I feel like punch wise yall were about even slight edge to one side for a tad more creativity. The winner here came from fluidity and what sounded forced and what not. Loser you're fire just work on the multis sounding as a normal person would say it and you're golden.
