Honestly...this was not that close. Shodan: I was feeling the concept and the flip to concept. It was nicely executed. Your multi set matched in terms of syllable count. However, the end of the multi didn't rhyme that well to me. It sounded a bit forced. PRO-CEE-JURES DE-FEAT-ED. I'm not sure what kind of accent you have but that doesn't really rhyme to me. Regardless the bar was still nice. Rosco: Heat/Lebron/Miami concepts are beyond played. Your multis were fine and the flow was smooth...however the multis were a bit filler-ish to me and unfortunately the played concept really hindered your ability to deliver a nice punch. shodan-multi wise, flowed poorly toward the end.. procedures, and defeated, dont rhyme no matter what language you speak, or accent... but at your level, its expected, you have a good understanding of how multis work, and the first two works, but also could be better, heres an example.... your first multi is :BATTLES IM CLAPPING PIECES, your interchangeable should be the word (im) so (BA)TTLES and (CLA)PPIN (PIECES) should be on point... also, in order to maintain good flow, in the multi, try and match the amount within that section of the scheme.. so battles would flow with tattle, or candle, or practice, in other words, use words that have the same compound syllable count per section.. tryin to use single words like CAT STILL, or RAT PULLED, works but loses flow..which is why in this instance, it works, but reads awkward and forced..... punchwise, 'heavy weight 'as a phraseplay concept is extremely played, but you had a fairly decent if not obvious flip to it, setup wise, it was poor in relavency, and couldve been stronger.. your only relevance was the mention of crew in your first few words.. you shouldve tried to tie in gastric, surgery, or heavyweight, a bit more.. ROSCO- you need work on multis, your first two works, but ran away from you as i went thru your bar.. strong and facade dont work,punchwise, very played 'heat= lebron or miami, reference... from a technical standpoint, it was a decent effort, setup was pretty relavent,also couldve been better, you pertaining to gun then finished with a gun type reference is a plus.my winner here just a tad fresher in concept to flip...
