Both were a bit weak in terms of the actual punchlines in their bars, but I still thought that this was a fairly clear decision at first... as I read it over again, I found it harder to figure out a winner here. My winner had some forced rhyming, especially in his last multi set (which is where it's worst to force your rhymes), but the combination of personals and relevant setups still made for a decent impact. I can tell you weren't trying too hard on this one. To my loser, your rhyming was quite a bit better in terms of not being forced, but you had a much shorter multi set. Even though you repeated it more than your opponent did, it still leaves you behind overall in terms of scheming-flow. You had a solid setup for your punch, but I felt like the simplicity/lack of creativity in the final jab was even more disappointing because of that. I have my winner based off of a better and more relevant punchline, but people who don't have much of a tolerance for forced rhymes and/or aren't too personal-minded could vote the other way. It's really a matter of stylistical preference. Fair's in. Voted: Esso / Ret

Feel like one had a common concept but still used it in a way that was impacting. The other had a very creative idea that he admittedly could have executed clearer and better. Voted: Esso / Ret
