Ill Phenom

Lockhart - Flow and multi's were on point. Flow had a couple bumps but nothing that took away from how smooth the verse read. You had some nice personal plays like your closer, but others I thought could have used some better execution ex. the tagging with rico bar although the scheme and flow off the soap and digits multi's rolled of the tongue nice. Liked the after picture punch as well. Overall a solid consistent verse. Thought a few bars could have been brought better and overall a little bit of polish to make the verse more crisp of a read. but obviously no verse is going to be completely perfect. Good stuff on your end....... Afterthought - Another solid verse. You'll have a bit of the same critique as I had for lockhart, had some cool personal concepts and other nice punches, and then some that could have been executed a bit better. I thought there were some spots that were a bit noticeable with the kinks in your flow. The bar you had in the (parenthesis) switched schemes after 2 multis' each. I just thought reading it with that bar thrown in there just put a hault to how smooth the verse was reading. Also at the end, little things like taken out "middle eastern" before terrorist acts would have shortened the line a bit and made it smoother for the readers. Just my opinion though, others could read it differently. On the good note of things, it read well besides what I brought up, the priceless bar was nice, I liked the wave a ring wordplay, always enjoy when I see a good wordplay that works well and isn't forced in there, and I thought he closer besides the thing with the flow I mentioned was worded very well, came off strong for me... Overall, this battle will most likely come down to preference in the long run of things. I thought it was pretty evenly matched a few tinkers here and there could have given either one the edge. My vote goes to the guy that I thought his best punches were a bit stronger than the others. Enjoyed reading this one, definitely a good one to read for me trying to get some spark to start writing here again. Voted: AfterThought /

Both brought heat to this bout.. Tough one to call and will most likely come down to preference. Each had their bars that stood out & were toe to toe most of the time. Felt like my winner slightly edged it w/ tougher punches.. Voted: AfterThought /

COFFIN DODGER

very nice battle , had to read 3 times before I chose my winner . one was solid with punches , multis and personals throughout but finish was kinda weak for me . other started off nice and had a couple of funny lines and good multis .. til about 3/4 of the way through when he seemed to go on a tangeht which spoilt the flow he had til then ..but then recovered and finished stronger than his opponent . so , very close call but leaning very slightly towards one . nb , fv n nh . To my winner: You did a decent job with this, some stuff I could see coming, but most of your punches had decent impact. There was a *lot* of variance throughout. Some of that was due to you writing rhymes that I thought were pretty forced. Overall, you weren't bad, but you had bad spots in this verse. To my loser - You started off strong, then dropped off halfway through. Your earlier punches were impressively created and executed well, but by the end, you were throwing down simple/stupid punches that I just wasn't feeling. If you had kept up your momentum, you would have taken this easily. As it stands, this is a battle of inconsistencies, with both texters having their low and high points - but there can only be one winner. Fair's in. Voted: AfterThought /

Blunt Rapper

Winner had better delivery and content. Heavier hits too. Nice battle, one was just better polished. Voted: AfterThought /
