Man this was a fucking hard decision to make here. One of the best battles I've read tbh. One had a higher punch count and the other had the smoother flow . Some nice wordplay and also heavy ass bars. Both had some sick quotables here. reEFer- Ya were nice and the set up relevance is what really made em hit hard, you had a nice flow and the multis were all on point, was a dope read w/ some heavy ass bars. Nothing to crtique here. You ended up w/ the higher punch count compared to your opponent. Phroxen- Your flow was smooth as butter and smoother than your opponent, You brought real hard hitting lines and also that wordplay was mad effective. Nothing to critique at all. Listen I could go on for days comparing your guys bars and trying to critique shit but I won't because after my first read I had a winner simply he had a couple of bars that really STUCK out in my head and had me leaning that way. I re read 3 times to make sure that I didn't miss anything. Favorite bar from Reef- The whole poker scheme Favorite bar from Phro- The cotton/caught n pressure bar and the setup. Reread it a few more times.. felt one had a few damaging bars but also a few jabbish ones. Flow was nice.multis were consistent although not as complex as his opponent..some mismatched along the way but thats negligible..other consistent flow ..multi usage was very strong.. there was one noteworthy nameflip that wasa haymaker imo.rest of the punches were fairly well done..both battlers had consistently strong setups.
