I didn't want to discuss the way I was running deadlines in the public forum especially with another moderator that was intent on name calling. Name calling is all well and fine, it's all part of the fun in the forums but not when it's two moderators discussing an issue. That was my problem with you. I think it was because you offered NO extension. And I said you should atleast offer some sort of extension, not to eliminate, but to minimize no show. And you were having none of it. You have to show some lee way. Sure people are going to no show regardless but you have to show a little leniency and atleast give people a chance to post.

By doing what you did you cut off your nose to spite your face.

I get it. in principle you should show for set deadlines but for this site and EVERY and I mean EVERY other rap battle/text battle thats just not the case. Thats why we ALL use extensions as a back up.

Not at all. In my world if I put an idea to someone and that person says. That wont work because xy and z I'll take it and their solution on board.

You mention brainstorming yet the act of brainstorming takes MORE than ONE person.
