You were always that humble guy who's always looking for elevation in text battles but when it comes to this topical ish, your ego seems to be so wrapped up that you can't even accept a loss. You got emotional the same way in the last audio topical tourney saying you lost to a battle verse. Even if that were the case and every single person who ever voted against you in a topical got it all wrong and doesn't know shit about topicals, are you that ungracious that this is how you react to losing?
You can be content in having received EtH and Black Book's votes alone if that's how you want to go out, but I highly doubt that even those two would say there's absolutely no way they could have conceivably seen M-Rock taking that battle as if the two verses were that far apart and it wasn't even close. M-Rock did a good job in that battle---you both did, and I don't think anyone would deny that.
I don't disagree with you in the notion that this site as a whole has a long way to go in learning to write AND vote on topicals, but I see all your complaints as primarily a response to losing, and it isn't a good look.
....I did lose to a battle verse. Go listen to it. When the judging of an event is poor it compromises the validity of the entire event. You shouldn't be able to win a painting contest by entering a sculpture. Even if it came down to an immaculate david statue vs. a kindergarten painting the painting should still win. It's the nature of the contest. So yes, I'm unhappy with the outcome of my battle but the entire tournament suffers the same issues. You want me to stop? Change the name of the tournament to "LB Cypher tournament" that'll give people way more freedom to talk about whatever they want. From all my experience, topicals are one type of thing, stories. Just like battles are punchlines.

If you wanna talk specifically about my battle with M-rock look at the storyline. His is a cypher, and a good one at that, but there's no plot. Imagine watching it as a movie, you can't because it would be a jumbled narrative with few tangible events. Give me a start middle and end. Give me a climax. Later against wiggles he did a much better job of composing an actual story, though neither came especially creative or mind blowing.

I lost to RULE in a final and though I didn't agree with the topic selection method his verse was much more engaging and smooth that mine was. Don't have much to say there, for that topic he creamed me. Had he written some babbling cypher shit, I would have complained in exactly the same way.

A basketball tournament with judges who have only played soccer holds no weight. Those with the most experience should hold the most weight in judging others in the same realm.

Just to clarify, I don't think you're an awful voter or anything of the sort, just that it doesn't make sense for you to hold more weight than BB in the topical arena, where he's more experienced and accomplished (as far as I know, maybe you've battled a lot on other sites but BB jumped over to the hardest topical league I've ever been in an wrote with those cats while I was there for a bit)

E: And I would never congratulate someone while they're trying to talk shit to me, that's just bad form
