Track Competition..?
 

I've had this idea for a while now, so, want to see what/if any) the interest would be/how many would be interested in having a tack competition?

How it would work:

Each MC would have the same instrumental piece as their opponent for each round (each round the instrumental would change). The idea is to make the best song possible so it would be different from previous audio battle tourneys.

Each MC would have 5 days to write, record their "Mini track" for their round and then when uploading said "mini track", they can do so via the upload file option, rather than trying to mess with the LB timer, which will have you vocals off beat.

Voting: would last for the same time as all other tourneys, three full days. After each round of voting, each MC who goes through will be notified either on their battle page or by PM of the next instrumental piece they will be using.

Changing Instrumental: Each MC will have a ONE TIME beat change during the competition, in order for the beat change to be confirmed, both MC's must confirm said instrumental change. If your opponent says no, you will have to do the best you can with what you're given.

Time Extensions: Each MC will be granted a ONE TIME 24 hr extension throughout the entire tournament. After that, if you don't post in time you will be DQ'd.

Rounds: The time will increase per round, so the further you get the more time you will have with your instrumental. Final will be 2 or 3 mins long.

- 2 custom beats created for the winner, Free with full Exclusive rights.
- Must give credits for production etc

Second Place
- 1 custom beat with Premium License
- 1 Song mixed & mastered for free
- Must give credits for production etc

Honestly, haven't got that far. I was thinking of different moods/vibes per round though. So one round being a Hype energetic beat, then the next could be a thought provoking type you know? To keep each round different and little challenging and also fun for those participating as they'll have more than one song writing style to try.

Track competition. Who can make the best song. Its not about battling your opponent. Just focus on making the best track you can with the instrumental of each round.

Tricky. I would be down, All Father, if it happens after the bartoberfest text tourney. Thats supposed to last til end of October.

We should def have a thread where we vote on each beat for that round with like two options each round. That'd be a good build up for it too.

There’s three things u could do to get this shit started pronto :

1.) Simply give one us a bye for the first round

2.) Cut someone from the list and make it a 6-man tourney

3.) Add RhymeSmoke and if he no-shows that’s on him

Hm. Ive got hella work bruh lol But depends ... @Odin how long are we going to have between rounds... since its only an 8 man tourney.... and we have to get the tracks mixed and stuff ... If we have a reasonable time frame I can do this , but if its like 3 days or something I won't be able to with work and stuff.

Read the fucking OP ... lol. 5 days for each person to write/record and post their piece. There will also be a one time 24 hrs extension if needs be.
