Punchline Champs World Tournament - Round 1

Failure to do so will result in a disqualification, regardless of the outcome of the battle. • Name changes during an open tournament battle are not permitted, and will result in an automatic disqualification, regardless of the outcome of the battle. • Each round will have a different character limit. Round 1's character limit is 200. Character limits will be enforced using an online character counter. • Failure to adhere to the character limit will result in a disqualification, regardless of the outcome of the battle. • LEFT SENDS TO RIGHT • The cash amount that will be awarded to the winner will be revealed in Round 2: ELITE EIGHT. Deadline to send is Monday, December 28th at 11:59:59 CST. Deadline to respond is Wednesday, December 30th, at 11:59:59 CST. Best of luck to all participants! |

@Brickrepper it’s not a requirement, just a limit. You can post whatever you’d like as long as your drop doesn’t exceed 200 characters. |

@Illestro @Yung Slang just beware that if you change the roster like that you’ll end up with 6 people advancing to the 2nd round, which will throw off the tournament structure considerably. If you have a plan to deal with this that’s dope, but from my experience running bracketed tourneys it’s better to have the byes and no shows in the first round so that the rest of the tournament is as straightforward as possible.

UPDATE: After careful consideration, and after talking it over with some of the mods, I'll allow Corduroy and H1Z1's battle to be counted as a legitimate tournament battle.
