That's a horrific example, but it pretty much makes sense the way I wrote it.

That makes absolutely fuck all scene. Wordplay ALWAYS has to make sense both ways.

Okay, grammatically it's not the best, but this is an example from me Vs Prince S Tana. The sentence works together above. The wordplay is what will make the metaphor work, but generally the sentence is structured in a way that can be said is understandable.

. But this way also comes off like a normal sentence. There's probably 5 million MUCH better examples out there, but this is off the top.
Wordplay has to come off like a normal sentence both ways you say it. You can't just throw in random things which sound like other things and call it wordplay.
