Expo: Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were home-selling companies, they caused an economic bubble which fucked up the economy... It's not me it's you and Monster are songs by the Christian rock band, Skillet, and "hero to save me now" is the chorus from their song Hero, Crysis is a member of ACs currently in Chloro, and Beyblade is a Japanese anime (animes usually draw dots in people's eyes) about some spinning tops or shit, idk. Also... the three laws of robotics is from Isaac Asimov's short stories, just look them up and you'll understand... Posted on: 2014-09-02 22:58:38 Private Message Shodan

Oh, fucking forgot this shit too. A crisis hotline is what suicidal people are supposed to call to talk to somebody... Posted on: 2014-09-02 23:03:16 Private Message Shodan

Fucking AGAIN, sorry about doing this so many times but I want to explain everything... Wonderbred predicted I'd win this battle and then go on to beat MM member Afterthought in round 2... Posted on: 2014-09-02 23:05:29 Private Message Shodan

Welp this may be the toughest choice i've ever made. This expo won't sway but i wanna point out that Obey that Isis punch was fucking crack. And Octavia I was really digging that Skillet punch as well. Both kept it really solid throughout in my opinion. The only thing is one had more wording problems then the other but honestly a coin flip good fucking shit to both. Damn Voted: Yes (Hidden)

both dropped heat on this one. clean verses all the way through. impressive punchlines and multi display. both have writing talent that I can learn from. props to both, on this one I have to go with Obey. I like how he used today's current events and put them into his verse...major props to both and good luck on this dope battle. Voted: Yes (Hidden)

FYI, don't know if anyone caught this. Ebola is contained in most fruit-flies, kind of pre-meditated the next punch w/ the one before. But this is a great battle, good luck! Posted on: 2014-09-02 23:28:11 Private Message Obey

fruit bats* not flies, my fault. Posted on: 2014-09-02 23:28:44 Private Message Obey

I felt one brought more interesting concepts. Fair's in. Voted: Yes (Hidden)

Nice showing from both here. Honestly was a hard decision for me. Both had some nice personals here and double ending multis. On one said I felt they had a slightly smoother approach in terms of readability and how the bars flowed when read out loud. However I also thought they had some wording issues and a couple of broken multis/filler. The other had the nicer ideas in terms of concepts and had slightly better execution in my opinion. I liked there ideas better here but felt they too had wording issues and a couple of sloppy parts where I lost the multi a bit. Octavia I was really digging the double ending multis....Obey I was really digging the double entendres. I'm leaning this wayyyy. Favorite Personals: (Obey) Than started 'In a grey state' w/ all these FEMININE FUNCTIONS so ‘It’s all backwards’ if ya giving us GENUINE SUBSTANCE when you ‘started at 19, went to 14' what're you BENJAMIN BUTTON?! vs (Octavia) if you wrote lines alone? you couldnt even TRY TO TOP MINE, i mean we know acs helps to WRITE YA BARS, GUY, but they just “assist your suicide” - hence a “CRYSIS HOTLINE!” Voted: Yes (Hidden)

Okay, this was a very close battle. I wanna state that first and foremost. I think you both try out of the box and try to put together original strings of concepts in bars, which is great, but ya'll gotta think about the relevancy. There were concepts that just didn't match up to me. Overall, I think you were both your strongest in your personals. The 19 to 14 bar Obey had was great and relevant and so was the Crysis hotline bar Octavia had. Very close, but one was a tad more consistent IMO. Vote's in... KLB Voted: Yes (Hidden)

Holy shit man... These bars, all around hot shit my dudes. I'm giving it to my winner for the strong opening to finish. I felt like my loser kinda faltered two or three times, but the punches definitely came in strong from both ends and I would love to see them both come in consistently with material at this level, even better if they can do that. That said, I'm dropping my fair vote, and we're going to leave it at that. Great read y'all. #FourHorsemen or whatever that lame shit I do is lmao! Voted: Yes (Hidden)

Tight...my votes goin to the verse that made more outright sense and had concepts that werent to complex...the read was easier and verse better to follow...the humor factor attached to the winners verse def added to its assault. Loser, not much of a loss as this too close to call. However i think some concepts never ended up where i thougght they would, some never arrived or connected with the punch. Most were decent tho, was firing for about 3 quarters of ya verse then nosedived....no h8.....dope! Voted: Yes (Hidden)

This was a nice spar..One took me by surprise as I had no idea who he was no offence lol. With that said this shit was pretty close but one's line had forced wordplay which took points of his verse while my winner had my favourite line of the battle. With that said fair one is in Voted: Yes (Hidden)

Clear winner here imo. Both had some nice flow but in regards to punches, my winner had complexity and originality while my loser had forced multis that weakened his punches even though his concepts were pretty good. Nice try to my loser but my winner was a notch above. Voted: Yes (Hidden)

I didn't realize the round was gonna close so soon or I would've voted, so I'm not gonna bother saying who had the better overall verse now, but that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac bar was some top tier shit. Posted on: 2014-09-05 02:05:40 Private Message Wonderbred
