If we where to hold a say $500 dolla tournament in the text and audio arena ....

Would you pay for a subscription to enter these tournaments .....

And if so how much would you be willing to pay ....

Interesting take on it .... But its not a paid entry .... They are merely paying a subscription like the exclusive subscription .... And its not like they are paying 100$ for it they will be paying 5$ a month ....

Or wateva and if the money is there to be won trust me put it out on twitter Facebook YouTube people will come and sign up ...

If we managed to launch it succesfully once then it would only prove a success going forward if we had more and more people join the prize money would obviously go up and we'd probably have to hold elimination tournaments to hold a main tournament ....

The potential is there with out doubt i feel ...

Student is talking shit about the sueing of LB (what a load of shit) also the idea is good but as student said the idea is not new, when i joined back in 2006-2007 they were meant to be running this then but never happened.

the voting system for these tournament would have to be changed to a hidden vote so there would be no vote backs and maybe only people who enter the tourney can vote on tournament battles - which would stop multi accounts voting each other.

The tournament would have to run at least once a month to make the exclusive membership worthwhile, maybe there could be like ranking tourneys where rank 1-100 can enter, rank 101- 250 and so on as there would be the same winners in every tournament which would stop anyone apart from the best of the best entering.

as X Cablibur said the idea is good, but the implementation of the idea in to a tournament actually running would need some dedicated people and some really good LetsBeef intervention and implementations to get this running.

I think this is a good idea. Just the wrong time. I think if we did this with an updated/new and fixed site and used both to advertise as a package it would work great. But at the moment the site is too unreliable for us to try and bring in new members. You can't give new members an excuse to not want to be here as it's hard enough getting them here in the first place, and the glitches and partially the lay out will do that. Get the site fixed and do this tournament after some net advertising and it will work wonders.

You could even add this to the exclusive membership. But as a bit of bait make the first tourney none exclusive as some kind of trial basis to new sign up's so they can see the site is legitimate in it's promise and not the charlatan half assed mickey mouse operation it has been seen as with the so called Cash Tourneys that never materialized.

I think all participants have a $5 buy in for a 64 man tourney. And all staff chip in $5 to $10 as well. Hold the event every 2 months.

Shit you could even make it a 128 man tourney. if you could get that number of brackets in, which you could. 64 on each side rather than the 64 on the left we currently have. It will take some organizing. But doesn't everything if you want it done properly?
