I've already asked you these questions privately, but I think some people might benefit from hearing the answers publicly.
How exactly will you determine whether someone's vote merits an increase or a decrease?
Does it depend on whether they vote the way you personally would have voted?

At the end of the day, the mods can have all the information that makes that one person either a good or bad voter, but it is still going to be opinionated, no matter what. It is still a matter of preference and we have to trust in the mods of this site to make the choices that will better the voting of the site and the site itself.

In a word, YES.
I'm only human. I'm not a robot who calculates statistics and decides based off that. I have been here long enough and been rapping long enough in order to have the abillity to judge a battle at a high enough level which will lead to me making very few mistakes. Will mistakes be made? possibly. will alot be made?. NO.
I will be looking into all votes placed carefully nothing will be rushed.
Edit: what TV said.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think that is totally wrong. There are a million and one LEGIT reasons why people vote the way they do. People value aspects of rap differently. Some people favor flow and multies over complexity and vice versa. Even when they appreciate all of these things, what makes the right balance for them in a rap verse is different. Voting is such an important part of being on letsbeef. If people didn't vote, this site would be almost pointless. It is to the bane of many people here when their battles get slept on. So we should all be encouraged to vote on each other's battles. However, when our votes are meaningless, then what's the point?
With that being said, there will come a time when EVERYONE on this site will differ from you in opinion about who should win a particular battle. I don't think their vote should have any less merit simply because it differs from your own preference. I understand why we have voting power. If someone is a hate/buddy voter, then their vp should be lowered. But it shouldn't be lowered just for having a different fucking opinion.
Honestly, I've voted on a few battles where the person I voted for ends up with more total votes but loses due to vp (and these are sometimes even without mod votes). This is what makes me suspect that my vp has been lowered. And if its been lowered, I know you guys don't disclose this, but I feel like I should know why because I've ALWAYS voted fair. I think this site should SERIOUSLY re-consider how it delegates vp, because if voting doesn't matter, then what's the point?

Well you're right but those few occasions where the other guy wins are not the reason ppl's VP drops....And even if your VP is 0 it can still go up in time....Hell mine was 0 for a little bit....But this is the point of this VP application, so changes can be made

Like I said. You don't have to apply if you don't want too. I seen people were airing concerns over voting so I gave them and yourself a chance to do something about it. The rest is on you guy's, we'll see how much the people really care enough to make a difference and put their knecks on the line. so to speak. If you want me to look into your application. leave it there. If not, and you don't trust me to make the right decision please go to your post and remove the links.

Wouldn't it be easier to just start ppl with 1 VP?? Then they can try to get it raised or others can try and get it lowered....Rather than starting at 2 where it can only really get lowered? Well not easier but better LOL

You can lower or raise the vp from 0 to something like a million so having it at 2 isn't a bad thing
