"That we're here for a reason." Your entire thought process is built on the fear that life has no purpose outside of that which we give it. And it doesn't. You're basing your premise on nothing but egotism. That the human race is somehow significant, or "special." That we have a "reason" for being. You know what that reason is? Luck.
