Crash Bandicoot was 1 of my fave games on PS1.
Wasn't much into uncharted.
But c'mon how you gonna play on normal difficulty and complain about a lack of interest.
TLoU strikes me as the perfect game to play hardest difficulty. It creates more atmosphere and makes you think about what you're doing cause the A.I hunting you is upped.

But it's just not fun. If Metal Gear Solid was just sneaking the whole time, without it's story and without all the subs, then it wouldn't be that fun.
If I can get a few hours into any game in the world without enjoying it, it's not for me.

After getting through another hour of this shit, I'm tellin you right now you're missing out. The sewers and capitol building aint shit compared to what i just did. shit turned up on me b
also you're constantly getting new guns and miscellaneous weapons like bombs and pipes so i like that dynamic. its better than picking up the same exact pipe that does 'X damage' from the beginning to end. u upgrade your melee weapons. the good story line makes me pay attention to everything they say and i'm actually interested in the story & where its gonna go

@ Godbody, it was a popular game and wasn't something people would be hipsters about, so obviously I'm the one who's in the wrong you know. You made this thread before the stuff you say is better though, so you obviously liked it anyways.
The gun upgrades stuff is alright but quite a few games have had it and it didn't change my mind about it. Army of Two was alright I guess and it contained that aspect.

I'd only like DayZ if I had my own house and plenty of time. It's the kind of game you have to roleplay in.
I watched a video where a group of guys surrounded another guy. They tied his hands behind his back, put a bag on his head, and then instructed him on which direction to move. They brought him into the forest, took all of his supplies (even including his trousers), took the bag off his head and left him out there with his hands tied behind his back. Was just cool to see this very real life gang robbery happen.
In most games, the guy would try to shoot them and would just get killed straight away, so it wouldn't have been as fun.

But I've made it to the underground tunnels, after making it to the capital building, and literally have not enjoyed a single aspect of the game thus far. The dynamics are basically that of The Warriors on PS2. Throw bottles and bricks to evade enemies. Besides that, it's just tedious without anything else happening. I don't understand it.
I get that the story is supposed to be amazing later, but it's not like I just started. I'm a few hours into the game, and here's the story so far:-
Zombie apocalypse (Sorry, infection....).
Baby sitting a kid who has the vaccine.
Girl I haven't been around long enough to care about dies after being bit.
......That's it.
I even know how it ends. With the story being about the connection between a man and his somewhat adopted daughter, during times of a somewhat zombie apocalypse, plus being the two game of the year winners, I think it's highly comparable to The Waking Dead by Telltale. No one really says much about the gameplay of Last of Us, it's more so focused on the storyline. The gameplay of Last of Us obviously wins, but even in reading how it ends, and from what I've played so far, Lee and Clementine's relationship followed by it's climax and aftermath absolutely obliterates the relationship gained between 'Guy who seemingly doesnt age much' and 'Girl from Juno'.
I don't know. @Agonize was telling me to play it and that it was incredible for ages. I had NO reason not to love it because it hits all the categories I usually like. It's a stealth game, and MGS might be my favourite game of all time. It's set in a zombie apocalypse, and TWD is one of my favourite games of all time. But I just don't enjoy anything. You basically have the shiv and molotov, and that's the only things that seemed to be effective.
