Religions are a set of beliefs, most of which praise God
God created the world & man
It wasn't until the creation of man that religion came into the picture.
Therefore, God preceded religion and it's infallible logic that man created religion because religion isn't existential. You're not just born knowing commandments and beliefs.

God created everything
Therefore God created the concept of being 'gay'
