Let someone else give you your accolades. Generally if someone does something of merit around here, people congratulate them. When the GC winner is crowned no doubt someone who isn't wearing it will make a thread congratulating them, and others will come to do the same.
No one wants to see you be your own hype man when you're still waiting in the wings.
